watch out Arthur!
bored at college (waiting for lesson) so I thought I would plan out a template that I like:
MBE
CH 4414
Ranger 0230
Master Scout
Medic 0004
Lets me use up to CL50, which means 2 'triplets' or one CL10 tank and one heavy hitter. I have an alt so I create another char and use it for vendors and possible doc crafting... if I can be arsed ![]()
Or:
MBE
MCH
Ranger 0030
Master Scout
Medic 0004
I cant decide, I hear CH can be quite slow and I might get bored and just op for the uberly cool camps instead (may even go CH 4044 and go Ranger 0430 for even cooler camps
- but it means less stored pets and lower CL usage)

The stupid part is that you can't fail on a wild creature and kill it. You are guaranteed at least one sample. Yet on a 'confined and controlled' clone version of a creature, you can sample it, fail, and kill the creature.
They sort of had to do something when you sample an animal from your inventory. When you sample an animal in the wild you either suceed, fail, agro, and kill. You can have combinations of this such as suceed and agro, fail and agro, succeed and kill. You can sample a wild animal and have it agro on you after you fail on the first try with the possibility of you killing it or it killing you, in effect removing your gauranteed sample.
When you sample from your inventory the animal has no option to agro you.You either suceed or fail. In that light the poof or "kill" as you put it makes perfect sense.

hehe zadokk i'm gonna start sending all my customers to you too...if they don't know that live flies can't be made into a dna template then chances are they won't know that something like "/t bria.arthurdent" will take them to another server...
i can see the BE community sending all their unwanted customers cross-server to other BE's...
on to serious business

I thought about this same sort of thing, but then i thought "well more often than not the animal could kill me if i didn't have my pike out, and when i do i make sure to have peace on, so why shouldn't i get a second chance similar to if i run and come back?"
the problem is that we can't really keep our pets in our inventory while sampling forever, but not getting a single sample from a pet you've speant hours upon hours on really hurts
