Hang in there buddy! the toughest is the first two levels... thne you go to Dant or Lok and it's smooth sailing....
Do you have +25 mask scent gear? or maybe some camo kits?

Camo Kits? I'm not a ranger. I have Jawa Beer and +25 scent shirt though.

mask scent/camo has no bearing on succeeding a sample - only on hiding you till you're close enough to =)
your DNA sampling mod is the only thing that affects that, so you'll just have to push on through. I found doing the trash behind the Mos Eisley Starport to be the easiest way up the first two boxes - its not too crowded and theres plenty to go around

If you want my advice, once you get sampling 1 do voritor dashers and bols on dantooine. (Pack runners or normal bols only)
You'll get agro'd every now and then, but you get good quality DNA and about 330xp a pop.

To be honest, about 1 in 3 times I fail.
I keep my lil vesp out with me though, so I kill em if they attack me (which they rarely do, they seem very patient about failing samples).
You'll only get 1 or 2 samples max at this level, below average or average quality from VDs, but you'll be able to make pets that are worth decent cash.
Pure dasher dna at the average level makes pets with about 6k ham and lvl 15, add a bol for extra kinetic resist and maybe a quenker relic reaper (havn't tried sampling that yet) for intimidate, ranged and poison.
If the dasher's poison spray worked for BE pets a pure dasher would be worth some serious cash.
You can always try some crystal snake on yavin onto that for poison. I bet novice ch's would pay decent money for levelling pets like this since around lvl 18-20 is the sweet spot for xp. Anything lower or higher gives less xp.

I just did a mission and got2 samples out of the 6 VDs, the others aggro'd me and I killed them (I am TKM too right now)
