We can still use them, however! We can substitue eggs for meat. We just don't NEED them.

And since we don't need them, I never pay more than 5cpu for them, just because they are never that great, stat-wise, and I can never really get enough together for a factory run of an item.

But if someone dropped 1k eggs on my doorstep, I wouldn't turn them away! But I would tell them to find a BE first, since they will get more money from them than from me.

Ahhhh... thank you sir!

Another question for you if you would... How big is a "usable stack"?

Oh, and since you are headed up the scout tree...

Don't forget the milk! That is something that will make you especially valuable to a chef. You start showing up to chefs with 1k stacks of milk, and they will love you!

I do all my milking myself, as there always seems to be a Desert Eopie spawn point around my city, as well as Banthas and Cu Pa's. Mask Scent is my friend! But you can never have enough milk.

If I was on Naritus, I would hire you in a jiff. But, being on Corbantis...oh well.

Got Milk?

What gives milk? Wow... do you get XP for it?

Certain Herbivores give milk.

To milk a critter, you have to have "Mask Scent" on. The higher your skill, the better. Knock some Jawa Beer back to get a good boost (ask your local chef for Jawa Beer!). Walk up to the critter and pull up the reticle on him. If you can milk him, it will give you the option to milk him. Some critters will move around a bit, so you have to move with them. Others will keep laying down, which is great.

On Tatooine, you can milk Eopies, Cu Pas, Banthas, and Rontos. Just don't milk the bulls!

I don't milk on other planets, so I'm not sure what else you can milk. Usually if its a bigger herbivore, you can milk it. Little critters, like Gorgs, you can't milk, although they are herbivores.

Unfortunately, you don't get scouting xp for it. Although you should, considering how much of a headache it can be sometime. Nothing worse than milking a Cu Pa and having it run away right before you would have gotten the final message saying you had milked it!

around 60-100cpu Eclipse

quality doesnt really matter on the price since it doesnt get any easier or any harder getting the eggs..

I just went to Dantooine to milk. I went there for DNA sample grinding. What I did was, me and a friend got buffed, went to the mission terminal and got the largest Herbivore we could find. I think they were Pickets. We would milk all the wondering Pickets near the target nest, DNA sample each to death, tap the mound, and start the process over. At 7-9K credits per mission, a dozen samples per mission, and at the end of the day, 1.6K of milk in my pack (Plus some meat from the aggroing mob), I think it was a productive two hours. So worth while, I may do it once a week!

A b.e. uses eggs, they are not in any chef schamatics. A common misconception folks have about chef. I get em offered to my chef vendor all the time.
