I personally know of 1 BE that was able to get light armor on a Level 9 pet on my server. I don't remember all the stats off hand but I do remember being shocked he got armor on it. He personally showed me the animal and this was only about a week ago. However, I suspect this pet will almost certainly be invalid when the patch hits.

And I stand by my comparison to duping."

Well, I guess you're talking about people like me. Destructive to the profession? This is laughable. It is by continually exposing theholes in the system that we will finally be given what we should have been given at launch - documentation and a solid, working crafting system. Every other profession has it.Granted, I like the complexity and I want to continue to see the BE crafting system reward those who are curious and explore and experiment. I would hate to see it revert to a state where every bio-engineer once attaining master makes the exact same pets as every other master.

Aside from the fact that not a single bio-engineer has been banned for making pets, what is *really* funny Arthur, is you have no way of knowing if your own pets are bugged. If you are selling 4000/2000/2000 pets with 15% kinetic, then as it stands today, you are also "duping." Since the developers still refuse to put a stake in the ground, the only way you can be sure you're valid is to make pets that are equal to wild ones - 1100 HAM and little or no resist. As if calling yourself a duper wasn't hypocritical enough, in this post you commended Windsplitter for "duping:"

So which is it, Arthur?

Making the best pets possible with the given system is *exactly* what a good bio-engineer is supposed to do. Anyone that can use a search button can look up Tal-N's CL10 recipe using dasher and huurton pup DNA and make a CL10 pet. Is that your idea of excellence? Combine the fact that anyone can use one of these pets with the fact that a BE can make a pet for Creature Handlers that are that much better than these, and you just can't say that these are destructive to game balance. Especially with things like Nightsisters and Krayt Dragons in the game. I sell my extreme CL10 pets for far, far less than a suit of average composite armor and comparitively I'm making very little money as it relates to the effort involved. Also, composite armor provides a much bigger advantage. I see no reason why Bio Engineers shouldn't make a good living - and the best ones should make a great living.

Personally, if you really feel that duping and making extreme CL10 pets are the same, I think you should ban yourself.
