Stick with something simple to begin with. Voritor dasher and hurrton pup combos work very well. You probably won't get a 6K animal but 4K is very marketable.

I'd recommend getting a pack load of both types. Sit down at your crafting station and combine the DNA switching off to see what happens. Take notes. Be aware of the different stats of the DNA before you place it and see how the template changes. Make sure to experiment. Its not uncommon to use only a few experiment points. Place them one at a time and watch how your stats change.

No one is going to spoon feed you a combo. You haveto learn that on your own. You'll be a lot prouder of your animals in the end.

do what i did to start - go to www.swgcreatures.com and find creature combos that will add up to 60% kinetic resists and vulnerabilities to all other damage types with the specials you want. This will give you the best shot at a good NCH pet. Make a couple of these, and if your CL comes out too high, sample all those creatures and then resample. That is the essential essence of multigen pets. Once you get used to that you can try mixing in first-gen DNA with second-gen DNA to alter the final stats a bit more flexibly.
