I went up the power line first, then got KD then up the meditate line, and finished strikes as I got them

less damage, only 6.0 modifier compared to cripplings 7.5. also, BS2 is an AOE attack, and just as slow as cripplingshot. i only use BS2 when i need to do massive damage to large groups.

I barely use crippleShot in PvP... You have to understand and accept that this class was not meantforinflicting sheer damage to your opponents. The key is to land all possible states on them and then try to take them out. Many people may not agree, but dizzy isn't actually so important, but stun and blind is(in that order). That's my opinion and is based on the fact that 80% of the PvP'ers on my server are either riflemen or TKAs (or both) and these people have some very good defenses; if you're trying to do a KD/dizzy on them, good luck, but you'll be on your back very soon wondering why you barely scratched them. Try instead to lower their defenses and make them miss (as much as you do ) and *maybe*you'll get some results (if there are more than 2 on your tail, you can as well call in and request clone activation ).

Is there a guide anywhere with the speed modifers and HAM costs of the pike specials? I could have sworn it used to be a sticky here.

Yep, the old one was given an honorable burial in the sea of posts. The new one hasn't been stickied with the reason that the numbers would change "sometime soon" with the combat balance...but it turns out that "sometime soon" is a long time off, so it probably should be stickied for now.

I would strongly suggest you read the stickies.
