Thread: What was your most memorable moment being a BE?
Can't really think of a single moment, unless it was using mask scent to get my last bit of scout requirements on Yavin...and not dying! I was sooo proud! But that was right before I got BE.
Afterwards, well, I went everywhere with my red Dewy. Never mind that he wasn't as strong as the mountain dewbacks south of town, or giant sand beetles. I made him! Whenever anyone complimented me on my pets I always had to tell them that I made them, and many times had to explain what a bio-engineer was. When CH was uber I still insisted on only using the pets I made myself, even if they were weak in comparison.
Just looked back through my old posts...looks like I started BE on 7-8-03. I'm going to miss having it in the game even if I haven't played it in awhile.

Those days i made my first million of credits...i remeber the sense of achievement that gave me when i reach 1mil...Ohhh good old passed away old days
I have two the first was the first time as master and shocking guild mates on a hunt by sampling a rancor to death with no weapons, pets or other objects
second time was the first time I sampled a mutant rancor (precu) without drawing an agro I actually got 4 samples from it before it keeled over
I am not a BE and never was, but I thought I had something to add to this discussion.
I have always been, and will always be, a Bounty Hunter, and I am fortunate that my class is going to be left in the game. But a bounty hunter cannot do it all alone, and since I specialized in base raiding, I could NEVER do it alone. I cannot remember how many times it took for me to find a BE to come and slice a base for me. I would have to wait for what seemed like hours for any of my friends who knew someone who knew someone that might know some guy that at one time might have been in a guild with some dude he thought might have a been a BE Pre-Cu. You guys were awesome though, and we ALL benefited from having you in the game, and I am sorry to see that you guys will be gone.

Lots and lots of them but my personal highlight was when the penny dropped and I realized that you 'bought' health, armor,and the special resistances you wanted BECAUSE you made the ones you didn't want on your pet Vulnerable and that Vulnerable had a value of -99 (at least before you combined it with something else).
Took me AGES and AGES of reading Mirrls' how to make pets over and over and over again and making pets and thinking and reading everything I could find about making pets to get to that point.
Then I went to live on SWGCreatures.com and plan out pets and, you know? I'd JUST gotten to the point where someone could ask me for a pet with 60% resistance to kinetic or whatever special they particularly wantedand armor and the special attacksthat they wanted and I could go to swgcreatures.com and figure out how to make the first generation and the second if needed and combine time and make exactly the pet they wanted. And then it was April 27.
