How the hell do you get Mutant Rancor DNA? I just went through hell trying to get any rancor dna is is was BAD!!

All my random combinations of critters were giving me some flaky results, so in an attempt to get some armor onto a pet, I used 5 AA samples from merek death heads into a kaadu and ended up with

light armor

10% to everything (i think)

hits for 600-610

0.52 to hit

2.1ish speed

Spec 1: Strong poison

Spec 2: Strong disease.

Using merek harvesters I put together a replacement graul (admittedly way too high cl)

Light armor

60% kinetic

10% to everything else, one vuln (stun i think)

mid 400's damage

spec 1 : dizzy

How'd you get the ae bleed?

I made several templates using nothing but an ae bleed sample (Rancor Youths) and no dice. I am mighty jealous.

Same happened with the ae disease off bull rancors, and area combo off merek harvester or cavern creepers or what have you.

10.4k ham durni, 40% kinetic resist, AR0, difficulty level 27

all five slots were vhq plains picket walker dna. I'm still trying to figure this out.

I just made me an awesome Gurreck 10K+ HAM, Dizzy/Medium Poison Lvl 32 with light Armor. Would be 1/2 of a great 2 pet combo. I used 4 of those noxious things and a GSH in that order. Think it may have been better with all 4 of the noxious. Think that last slot must be for Spec #2 because I think the noxious things had strong poison and the GSH had medium

Used 1 Ancient graul DNA in phsych

Got 11k HAM

480-490 damage

Light Armor

60% Kinetic

35% energy

89% to most others

5% to stun and 2 others

Vuln electricity

Special Stunning strike

Overall not bad tank. high CL but we plan on mixing in some higher HAM based bull rancor DNA with the frenzied to try and get more ham/damage on the creature.

Well i had a pack full of rancor dna (sampled my own rancors beforethe patch) so I used it all to make kimos.

Kimogilas CL40 and CL46
HAM ranged from9500 to 11k
Dmg was around 500
Intimidation and... the other rancor attack
Light Armor
Rancor Resists I believe, not sure of them atm

Then I was on Dant and got some Voritor Tracker dna and make a kimo:

CL40
8500/7500/7500 approx HAM
around 350 dmg
Cant remember attacks
No Armor
Resists: 60 Kintetic, Energy 25 for the rest except for 1 vulnerability, which I can't remember

I wonder how the resists would be with mixing rancor and voritor dna. OR Savage Quenkers have 45 across the board for the resists so dna from those would work well too.

Needless to say I sold all my kimos today (50-75k each depending on stats)!

Oh for bottom of the pole creatures I created a rancor with dwarf nuna dna! approx 275HAM, 50dmg, no armor, no resists. Its first battle with another dwarf nuna and it died!! hehe
