My advice? Well if you do not already have scout skill then when you train up the hunting line the you should exclusively harvest meat. If you intend to grind your way to master you will need 72870 units of meat and 72870 units of flora food, and 97160 of any kind of organics (I recommend yet more flora food, as you will just need one flora harvester then).

And to all you that complain about to people just coming throe BE on their way to unlocking the FS slot, think of them as chances to get some axp.

Thank you for the kinder words people. I promise to try not to be annoying while I am here. I DEFINETELY won't start yelling about what should and should not exist in the profession unless I decide to stick with it beyone force slot.

I don't know much about the profession or what it involves, so I really was just looking for any advice.

As for coming in and then taking off, I can promise you that not only do I respect ALL professions, going through the process to become master BE is not just a hurdle. It's PART of the game for me, and I will be very serious about the profession whileI am here.

Unlike a lot of the people you may have seen post on here, my intention is not to just pass through this profession with macros and AFK crafting (which I will never do either of), I intend to truly experience being a BE.

im very glad to hear it.

first off, you will need to make a macro to sample DNA (which is 1 of the 4 specs in BE - "DNA Samling" the other 3 all take 'BE exp' from crafting) to '/sampledna'

next thing i can tell you is gather as much meat and flora food as you can find (seriously, you need a ton). flora you canharvest yourself with a farm, but meat you may want to make some friends help gather just cause its cheaper to do missions for it than it is to buy it - much cheaper.

BE exp from crafting clones is borked right now, so your best bet to get the best gameplay experience while still getting experience is to spend some time on DNA sampling at first until clone exp is fixed, just making clones to get more DNA from. when your inv fills up, make templates and keep going.

last, buy a food/chem droid and make friends with a smuggler who can make muon gold - you WILL need it.

other than that theres just details on how to do everything "best" but part of the fun is figuring that out.

hope you have fun in your visit here in the world of BE (trying to have fun isyour best shot, many have quit this wicked grind), its one of the most complex and complicated professions (if not the most) not only in the technical and strategicaspect, but in the social aspect - our relationships with other professions are very unique.

Sorry if you think I'm being condenscending, I'm not trying to be. But seeing how you seem to be on the Jedi path, even if you do find this profession appealing, you will probably be dropping it after master to continue on your path. If you come back to it later, hey great. If not, good luck with whatever you finally decide upon. Just thought I throw out the general grinding strategy for you to see so you can get started, I meant no disrespect.

Well if you are becoming a Bio-Engineer only for the Holocron and possible force slot.....then have fun grinding, it will take you quite a bit longer to Master this proffession then others.

But if you are doing this becasue you want to try it out anywise...on and beyond what the Holocron said.....

This proffession is quirky, it works and it doesnt work....This proffession is like a Vinal record with lots and lots of scrathes in it....sure you can hear the sounds but the actual playing of the record sometimes requires you to hold the needle or do some other things.

Sure the proffession is being fixed.....very, very, ultra slowly.....

Well ok everything that has been done so far has been to make other proffessions happy....thats why we have pet stims....for the creature people...thats why our BOL type creature will be usable...becasue its a mount type....

Everything else just stays how it is.....

Who knows you might be getting into the ground florr of one of the funnest things you have ever done...thats is if the suggested changed ever happen....

But other wise....good luck to you...many Bio_engineers will help you out...as will many other players.....

And you will also undoubtedly be asked if you can do certain things...but you will have to say you cannot...

So anywise...this proffession, is very disheartening...it has lots of potential....but right now...it is still in an infant stage....but their is hope....there is always hope.

Don't let the holocron haters get you down. We've had many people come over here for less worthy and more foolish reasons. Like the CH's whoare only here to make their own rancors, for example. They don't last very long, unless they accidently find out that they're having fun and change their style. The reasons mayhave changed, but having new people show up isn't new. I generally try to discourage them so they don't waste time in this class unless they really love it.

While I don't think the holocron idea is very jedi-like, that's the devs, not you. Good luck on your quest. And I'd probably do the same if my skill points weren't tied up in a crafting profession instead of a combat one. I don't think I have much chance of getting a holocron, forget about getting four or five of them.

Dude, you take this game a little too seriously. The holocron told me to change professions. I'd like to be a Jedi. I'm not going to lose my job in real life, or have my family leave me over it. It's a game. No need to call people morons or compare chances to the lottery. If I don't get Jedi, no big deal.It's only a game, I'll live.

Hi I am a power gamer and working towards my Force Sensitive Slot.

Iam also getting prepared to become a master bio engineer since my second holocron suggested I do this on my path to enlightenment.

To anyone who doesnt like us holocron grinders move along we dont need your lip service.

I was excited about getting Bio engineer, it will go with my creature handling skills quite nicely . I know I wont be staying long after I get master but I plan to get the most out of BE while Im grinding away .. also I plan to get rich on selling pet stims hehe.

Thanks for those who gave out grinding hints to help us out .. I wish we could learn every skill in the game and not have to surrender skils but the game doesnt allow it .

If you want to flame anyone flame the DEVs for creating the system we have ,Im just simply learning the skills needed for me to become master jedi eventually and master BE is one of the professions I must learn on my journey there .

Whatever , I just want to get this over and done as painlessly as possible . I respect you for you being a master BE and I hope you respect me for working towards becoming a master jedi . If you think I am a moron for trying to become a jedi then ask yourself what must I think of you for only playing a BE hehe .
