I'm very new, less than 2 months. My brother started about a month before me soi didn't come into the game thinking BE was easy, i KNEW it would be hard...very hard, lol.

What's a little blue box? Is that something to do with your jedi holocron thinga majiggy?
Yeah, i have been holding back asking question for fear of flamage (i don't react well to hostility lol), but i think you're going to see alot of my stupid questions in the very near future. I am always referring myself to the FAQ's but bleh....sometimes it just doesn't make sense to me. Any of the sites that claim to be able to help me learn about BE a little better want money? **edit**? lol....

Yes, my 1st holo was BE, I opened my second the other day, stupid me it was fencer.
When you first start the FAQ can be tough, and most of us talk in code with our... MR, VHQ, BMB, HQ, MH, MDH, QMH, BTN's etc. (To be honest, I don't know what they are talking about half the time myself.)
When I get DNA sample, I can't wait to make stuff, so for me to go to many different planets and get all kinds of stuff, and a mass this big stock pile of DNA... never gonna happen, unless they buy into my lab idea. I am thinking about how to make my own, in looks at least.

Heh heh. It's funny to see the number of BE's who did it for the holo and decided to stick with it. I was always looking for an excuse to try BE. I just had a hard time giving up TKA and Ranger, which I worked so hard for. My first holocron said "Master Bio-Engineer" and I figured it was a sign from Yoda or something. My next holocron said "Master Commando" and I was like, **edit**? NO! I'm going MBE/MM, and if I ever want to try something else, I'll do it on another server. No way I'm giving this up.

Don't have to be really good at math to be a good BE, as convoluted as the pet crafting system is you can do just as well by getting the "feel" for what's going to do what for a pet. Though it does help to keep records.

Awi, I'm really, really bad at maths too and I've been BE twice, mastering the second time, and I'm about to start it all over again (really shouldn't have given it up!)

If the math scares you, look for the Tissue Calculators I made. Plug the numbers in and you don't have to worry about it.
For pets I go with the "feel" method myself.
