I prefer to do a run of +18 and a run of +7. You can still stack a +18 and a +7 for the maximum bonus but if for some reason you need to remove your +7 garment you still have a decent advantage.

Just wanted to toss in another confirmation that it is 50% OQ/30% PE/20% FL, not 33/33/33 as stated in the schematicsfor both chef and tailor tissues. I've kept track of my tissue combines (resources used and outcomes) for some time (over 100), and had come to the conclusion that 50/25/25 is close. Finally I used some fancy excel tools which showed it was closer to 50/30/20 - I updated the formula and suddenly all my projections dinged for both value and percentage success with what the actual outcomes had been as an MBE using all exp points.

Also, another aspect of the crafting which confuses many folks and which I have much evidence to back up - if you use wood or hide or another resource lacking FL and PE, the OQ is used, but the PE and FL are the _weighted_ average of the PE and FL of the other resources used. Ie, for a BSN made using 55 wood, 35 flora, and 20 meat, the PE and FL for the wood iscalculated this way:

Missing_PE=(Flora_PE*35 + Meat_PE*20)/(35+20)

Missing_FL = (Flora_FL*35 + Meat_FL*20)/(35+20)

And yes, while we don't always have to choose between a 900/800/700 resource and a 700/800/900 one, knowing how it is computed can help you make best use of your resources when shooting for +13 for tailor tissues.

Hope that helps!

I have not done too much with the Tailor tissues, but the +13 and the higher ones both have their places. If the bonus is being doubled, then the +13 is all that is needed.

Some customers only have one slot left for a tissue, in which case they will want as high as possible.

Specifically, Active Biosensors, Active Tranquilizers and Enhanced Myoflex Treatment can be doubled in a single piece of clothing, so I always keep those at +13 (note: each pair must be from the same factory run). The others I try to score as high as possible. +13 is the lowest I'll offer, and I'm content with +15. Chef tissues sell far better and are easier to craft. I'll say that my chef tissues pay themortgage, utilities and landspeeder insurance while the tailor tissues let me pick up the tab at the cantina on Fridays.

Boy - you guys are dead wrong about not needing to max out stun/melee tissues. Keep in mind most folks use them for shirts they can wear under armor, belts and maybe bandos. Most folks also want to max out Stun/melee and stop bleed in those three items. That give you the chance to either max out stun OR stop bleed but not both. Hence, having the highest possible tissue in the one item that will only have one tissue in it is VITAL.

I do a lot of shopping and hunting to make sure I can turn out +4 Melee/+18 stun tissues!

Hi guys,

I came here to ask a question regarding best mods on tissues and this thread provided my answer, thank you all.

For the folks spreading mods out between different items in order to hit +25, I recommend trying to get as much as you can into 1 item also as armor-wearing folks like myself can only use 1 shirt under our armor.

Most people have twigged to the fact they only need 4 pieces of armor to cover themselves in combat. I'm selling an awful lot of bio pants now

also note that anything above +13is just as good as +17...you're going to need to double up your BE clothes to achieve the max +25 value anyway, so two +13s are just as good as two +17s. I only ever craft +13 for my tailor tissues, save the good resources for the chef tissues where it matters more, and they sell just fine =)

Yep but if you are a wookie looking for mask scent - you can only get one tissue in one type of clothing (shoulder pads) so you need as high + as you can get.
