Okay, after playing on it a bunch I think it's pretty obvious I wont be getting this for me BE, but I had an absolute blast on my jedi.

obtained a "wild force shard" through a fairly easy quest last night, and haven't used it yet - but it provides enhanced combat skills for a duration of time.

don't know if this would actually help a BE or crafter on the planet - this is pure speculation - but my initial thought was that this could be a bone tossed at us.

no combat was involved in obtaining this.

I don't know if it is a bug or just good luck on my part... but when I am on Mustafar and I sample my own creatures my sucsess rate is amazing. I usaly get 4+ samples from a reature before it disapears.... I even got 8 samples from one (I thought the max was 5). Nothing to go buy the expansion for... but if you have it please give it a try and LMK if I am going crazy....

keep in mind the all-powerful CL modifier.

a tulrus' AOE hit me while I was on my Lava Flea (a CL80 combat toon, and the CL10 mount).

I took 150 dmg, which was reduced to 75 after armor. easily survivable under most circumstances.

the lava flea (which was the only thing keeping me from a fiery death) took 9500+ dmg.

lava fleas don't have 9500+ dmg to take. it went flat, and I pitched forward into the lava.

the 'wild force shards' (and other shards) might help in same-CL fights/escapes... but that CL modifier beats ANYTHING in the game.

unless there are a bunch of new schematics locked in the 'cube that are BioE-specific, it looks like we were passed over. if I see something nice, I'll holler... so far, it's combat-or-stay-home, with VERY few exceptions (CL1 crafter/entertainers can exhaust the content available to them in about 15 minutes... new song, new dance, the 'cube...).
