Thread: Should BE's purchase Mustafar expansion?
I'll reserve judgment until I see what kinda DNA can be sampled from the critters there, but I will say.. the bunker is beyond cool, and its fun to force choke NPCs and reflect lightning back at them, and all that fun stuff. This is very combat intensive thus far, andfrom what I've seen so far(and yeah, it'sreally early to tell)there's nothing that wouldn't look at my BE's CL and just eat him alive. ![]()
From what people on my server are telling me the lowest CL critter is 67 on the planet. They're all excited about the expansion of course but it's strictly combat. If you have a combat alt you'll more than likely enjoy the expansion. If you don't have a combat alt, now is your chance to grind one out.
Or you can just save yourself $30 and not worry about it.
There is no cloner there but there is an insurance term and you insure like on Kashyyyk. Make sure you do or you will awaken from the cloner with an artificial limb. I know I did. I only went there for the dance but met up with a guildee (CL80)who took me out after some DNA. Needless to say, I failed and aggro'd the critter (kinda looked like a lobstery lizard - something with a t). He incapped me 1-2-3.
I may try again tomorrow.
that's probably not worth 30 dollars.
the bunker will make a nice lab?
...
i'm sorry, i don't mean to be nasty, but that is total crap, my be is mch/mbe (57) and has been since well before CU, after CU i spent a long time trying to find the right dna types and was sampling from up to level 75 aggro creatures all the time and only ever died twice, so your statement is totally groundless, with a little common sense and planning you can easily sample at the highest raneg of our sampling ability without much trouble, granted those who dont have a mastery that gives them cl57 may have trouble, but any BE with a bit of common sense and some knowledge can survive sampling from the highest levels fo sampleable creatures.

Nope... I don't see a reason to buy this expansion. at CL 57 ( master CH, master BE ) there is nnnnoooottthhhiiinnnngggg there that would be samplable with out dieing at least 5 - 6 times.. If they were to offer BE some CL in their profession, then I could see buying it.. and DON'T tell me that " well.. BE is a crafting profession and shouldnt gain a combat edge over other crafting professions " because as I see it.. Smuggler is a crafting profession with a tad of combat. Yes, they MAKE spices and PERM PUP's for armor andweapons ( slices ). Be I think is a more risky profession than that..
We deserve the love.. too

These creatures (even cl 67) are ready to attack cl80 on a whim, so it isn't exactly safe there, though as you have pointed out, we can do it on Dath. The raptors have fleetfoot3 on them - they can keep up with a swoop which I tested last night
