Pre-CU I Sampled Geneticly enchanced Kumras through a wall on Yavin (I think it was Yavin)..... you could try it.... Oh yea bring a crafting droid along so you can convert your dna in to templates and free space, Its vary useful for long DNA trips.

What I usually do is get a level 80 guildie to group with me, that way even if I do get aggro'd I have a chance at either running, or fighting with a noncert weapon. Some say you get better results when grouping, but I have not verified this completely. Only verified as to the fact that if the person is with you, they can keep you alive and therefore your sampling goes quicker.
