Oh, you are saying I should refund 70k of the 80k that someone paid for a non CH Kaadu on my vendor last night?
Folks, you need to understand basic marketing. There are a TON more rich non CH players out there than there are CH. CL 10 is all they can buy. They can buy a probot or a pet. If it is worth 80k to them to have a high HAM mount that never needs repair or batteries, eats people food, will carry them into battle and then take half the damage for them, who am I to argue with that?
I put pets priced from 5k to 100k on my vendor. People buy what they want. And what they want are the higher priced battle mounts and cats.
Shop the other vendors in your galaxy. If your prices are not comparable, consider raising them.

I had an order for 3 of those CL 10s and it took 10 hours to gather the DNA and make the pets, the customer offered 100k for the set so it was worth it but I wouldnt have bothered for 10k a piece.

How many samples did you take - how many pets did you make? How many went wrong because you tried to push the limit too far to get the best for your customer?
I'm not MBE yet and I have no marksman or brawler. I cant get missions for voritor dashers so I have to go look for them - the 'pile of bones' lairs spawn around 3 voritor dashers each and 3 voritor lizards, I get 1 sample from each dasher - 2 if I'm really lucky - so one lair of them will give enough for 2 attempts if I'm lucky. I fail on the sample most of the time and get detected often - which means 1 minute downtime every time I get detected.
The customer specified he wanted all 3 pets to be different so I had to gather samples from tatooine, naboo, talus and corellia too.
I took the time and effort to meet the customers demands and I was well rewarded.
My usual price for the non-CH using my variation on that recipe is 20k

I was making great CL10 pets the other day, but now that I have mastered BE I can seem to make them anymore, is it because I mastered BE? Any other master BE's had this problem and how did you solve it

Ok, fair enough, I have carbineer skills and can get dasher lairs no problem. I don't do requests yet, I just make the template, make the pet and if it comes out about right, I'll try and sell it. OK, if I had to go to several different planets, I would charge a little more, but it sounded like you were referring to the VD (lol) and HP recipe for your pets, which are all Dant. I got around 30 samples in all and I haven't actually made the pets yet, so we'll see. The Dasher mission is still live, so if I need any more, I will head out to it again. You could always join a group to get dasher missions and leave once you got them, as long as you explain your intentions to the group leader of course.
I didn't mean to belittle your hard work, it's just that I can't justify to myself selling these pets at more than 10k a pop.

I guess for master BE's and combat class or ranger can gather samples alot faster... I make an average of 1 CL 10 pet of decent to good quality every 2 hrs... *only play about 2-6hrs a day* (somedays dont play, some days play for 6+hrs...) I make a ton of novice CH pets and alot of second gen candidates... but only 1 decent to good in any 2 hr stretch... I am also not completely comfortable with my recipe's yet so I still do alot of experimenting with DNA placement and whatnot... I will say you can make a decent CL10 pet with packrunner, bol, VD, lPB, LPB if you use average/below average dna samples... You could also use crap second gen in the last 2 slots and use bol, bol, VD or packrunner and you could keep a good amount of resists at least one special and 4k HAM.... 50 damage .2 to hit and 2.19 speed... roughly 10-20% kinetic *above 15% will most definately push this recipe over the 10 limit*...
