You know whats real sad....in the real world their are animals able to move faster then many of the vehicles in existence....such as a humming bird, or jaguar or cheetah, or even a common house fly.

You would think such creatures would exist in the Star Wars setting and mutatated as well.....what am I saying.....how do you think vynocks and things attached to a space ship or for that matter the reason why there where not alot of vehicle travel in certain areas of some of the planets.

Its frankily disturding seeing that there are no creatures in this game that are able to surpass a Vehicles speed.

When in truth there should be many.

The ecco-systems could not exist unless it was so.

oh well...perhaps someday there will be more mounts....

Well my lanturn bird keeps up with my swoop no problem.

Doesn't lose a single meter from me.

Since way before release SOE has been giving us flak about the atmospheric flight thing.

They originally wanted to add jetpacks and flying craft of all kinds (including flying mounts) before release.

However, they FAILED.

They didn't pack the gear to pull it off so they dropped the idea saying that they'd implement it later.

One year later they are apparently no closer to realizing these goals.

One of the reasons I feel they are not letting Bio-Engineers make flying pets is because they are so fast.

If we made a strong one they would be overpowered, able to outrun anyone, even on a speeder.

I say they should let us mount and make flying pets, but give us a level cap like 30 (which is actually below the level I've seen fliers in the wild, which is up to 36).
