i mean if you want to spend the extra 15 a month to enhance your main character, thats of course all well and good, but the game should be perfectly accessible to those of us with only one account. It seems the more ubiquitous players with alts are getting, the more there's a feeling that you have to have an alt to compete - just like you have to have 12 point AS or WS or Chef to compete.

I don't feel my alt allows me to compete in the BE market. I've got a guild and hunter contacts that get me more organics than I ever could on my own.

My alt allows me to play the game when I just don't feel like sampling DNA or creating pets. Its a completely different experience and prevents burn out.
