OK I need 6 boxes to fill up my 6 branches for unlock.
I'm Still;
Master TKA
Master Smuggler
and Pistoleer 4-4-0-4
Here is what I'm thinking
Dropping pistoleer skills and converting the XP until boxes are gone. Then the same for the pistol part of smuggler and some of the TKA part if needed, I can regrind out TKA in a day with some help. Has anyone done this to do a crash Branch fill? do you think it will work? I beleive that there is enough XP there to do this.
What are everyone else's thoughts, I may try this tonight after I help my friend get 10 more Pirates.
Thanks

Erm. You don't get any XP back when you surrender a skill. Once you originally bought the skill, the XP went *poof*.
If you were thinking of something completely different, then I must have missed it.

If I'm understanding what you're wanting to do - you do NOT regain the experience spent on a skill if you drop the skill.

I may be confused but it seems that when I dropped skills there was and excess of points there. This is probally different now since I convert all my XP to force XP now. Like when I dropped Rifleman all the way down threw marksman I still had 200k showing in the rifles tree of marks man. I had banked up XP. I may just drop a block of something later tonight and see.

If you do convert your Rifle xp to FS xp after dropping the skill, convert it all at once. The instant you convert some, it checks your current xp level vs the xp cap based on your current skillset.
I lost 350k Pistol xp this way...

Before the village quest patch began, probably most would have double their xp banked for some time if they kept those skills. at master you will cap at 900k xp. You do not keep the xp from the skills you drop, but you will keep the banked 900k. If you made the same mistake as me, I had 900k unarmed xp banked until 1 week before patch 10, well at some point I had no weapon equipped and was agro'd and lost all of it accept 2k of it.

I was curious. I am still only novice SL, but plan on going master and I am wondering if having more than one SL in a group makes the group defense bonuses all stack? I so, imagine the defense on a group of 8 master SLs! +240 to both melee and ranged defense! With my master pistoleer/4000 CM template that makes a total melee defense of +445 (155 melee, 50 pistol, 240 group) and ranged defense of +450 (160 ranged, etc.). I should have decent damage output (lower than a double mst ranged or mst ranged with BH, but still decent) and I can do a pretty good job of healing.
Has anyone had the chance to try being a group with multiple squad leaders? Some things would only be good for the group leader, but if these bonuses stack that is a pretty big deal.
Thanks,

As far as I know, it's only the squad leader that is also the group leader that gives the bonuses. So even if that is a novice SL with a master SL in the group (but not as leader) you'd only get the novice SL bonuses.
And I heard rumour that there's a bug where you have to actually form the group yourself (i.e. not get /makeleader on you) to add the bonuses.
