(as far as I can tell, this has never spawned on Ahazi...)
According to SWGCraft, this has spawned several times and there are two spawns right now
Better get it while you can. On Gorath, we went quite a while between spawns. I am making an extra effort to get it the next time it comes

Actually Arthur, it was the other way round. The stuff came in shift and Doctors and Medics immediately started offering crazy prices, so anyone with any scouting skills at all jumped on the bandwagon. It's why buffs are 10k - 12k now

How do I know how much I can sell my resources for?
Check current prices on bazaar, watch your server auctions, visit resource merchants, set a price if people don't buy, lower the price.

I sold my resources last night to our BE's and aromorsmiths and brought home 1 mil credits. The thing is, I sold for what would normally be considered "low ball" prices. I would be wary of trying to hold out on resources right now with the increase of spawn rates and the increase in harvesting. Get a fair price for one night's hunting as a whole instead of concentrating on the straight cpu. I just looked at my offers, added them up and said to myself "One mil credits for 1.5 nights playing? I can live with that". I was happy, they were happy, and now I have 2 more loyal crafters in my network to drop my resources off to.
IMO the new rangers who are coming in this for harvesting alone will get weeded out by the true bloods who maintain a consistant fair relationship with the crafters.

I find that an interesting statement as someone who is just coming into this profession... see I've tried many many things in this game, and it always seems like I come back to hunging big game for fun... about my 3rd or 4th week in the game I met up with a bunch of great guys on Naboo (who are now my guildmates) and they introduced me to fambaa hunting. I'll admit I was hooked, but it didn't seem to be a very good way to make some coin so I experimented with Droid Engineering (bless those who cho0se to stick with it), combat templates, bounty hunter (PvE bounties are fun, I'm just not a big PvP person), Doctoring etc. Through all of this grabbing some big creature missions has always been the most fun for me so I decided to take what I like doing and run with it... yesterday I signedup for Novice Ranger.
Now I understand that big game hunting for resources can be financially rewarding, maybe not as much so as say hunting dragons for pearls, but enough to keep me in brandy and veghash at the very least. My question for all of you is how do you initially form those relationships with the crafters to start up those production lines and create some demand for your product? How did you get the word out that you would take hunting contracts?
Oh BTW I like the asylum, love what you've done with the place

I got all of mine by checking the trade forums, finding some ppl who needed a certain resource. I then hunted a good size stack over 2-3 days, dropped it on their vendor; and this is the key, Ithen sent them a mail saying "Hi, just dropped xyz on yr vendor, if you need more of this or anything else plz let me know". I've not yet hadthem never send me at leastaquick thnx mail, followed by 1 a week from then onwards with what they currently want. Also I've been lucky in the 3-4 months I've been doing it to run into some of the vendor owners either at their vendor or in Coronet etc and had a friendly chat.
Altho we "live" in a false world, seems a bit of face to face contact does wonders for relationships even here

Two of mymain buyers, which I suspect are the very same two that Jaxus mentioned in the original post, I met ingame and waswon over by their attitude towards their hunters. One is an AS who gave me a free set of great comp the first time we met, simply because I went with him instead of another buyer. The other is a BE who custom-made me a fantastic pet gurreck. Both crafters have become reliable contacts, and for me having good friends and contacts is MUCH more valuable than chasing after the highest bidder. I do still sell to others on occasion, butthese two crafters have actually won my loyalty as a professional hunter.

no, it wouldn't work because everyone can sell their wares & resorces for as much as they feel.
If you need to know what something is worth, make your own equation.

I haven't posted anything on this boardagainuntil recently due to the fact that I went on a short Hiatus to do some writing. Check my past posts to see how long I've been on before you accuse a vet of being a noob next time please.

Was a master ranger and had a blast. i droped it in the hunt for jedi, went commando. Now im all most broke. as a ranger i made lots of good money and i mean lots just with a few clients. i just can' t stand killing things and not able to harvest off them, just drives me crazy.
Would it be cool to be a jedi? yea it would but all the work, chance of perma death ect. ect. so i'm on my way back to ranger and
SOME MONEY>>>
