@RedDragonLord AGREED! Earn your way to the top man, dont just grind it out cuz you can... That way you will see how resources actually affect things and will know how to make good armor...

Mabari armor? that means reliyng on taliors that are a) hard to find B) reluctant to give up the goods that THEY need ALOT of, C) paying large prices.

Of course you could always get a factory yourself.... but that costs 15k...

well as a master aweaponsmith I already know a lot of the tricks of experimentation and I will be selling things that I make as well. the reason I ask about grinding Is there is not much of a market foranything byt chitin ubese padded and composite. and would like to get to be able to make those asap as the weaponsmith rtrade on intrepid is coming apart at the seams and can barely keep my head above the water as is.

Selling mabari weave will not make any difference whatsoever and may only accelerate my trip into bankruptcy as i will be unable to concentrate on weapons.

Try armor upgrade kits (from a generic tool), that's what I use. Ideally, you should be able to make armor and sell it and get skill levels like that, but at this point, when there are master smiths running around, no one really wants your low skill level armor - I learned that when I started.

If you sell your ragtag "grinding" armor real cheap (300-400) for a mabari chestplate you can atleast decrease your losses on your way to MA.

God I hope you are not on Chilastra. I would hate to think that we have idiot Architects selling foactories for a measily 15K.

He isn't buying factories for 15k on Intrepid unless he has a good architect friend or suppling resources for combine. Cheapest I have seen them is 37.5 and thats at my shop, which is about to change seeings people feel selling low grade ore for 6cr per unit is reasonable. Avredge price is 40 to 55k on Intrepid. Not that anyone really cared, just wanted to put out the myth.

DO NOT listen to the people telling you to slowly work your way to master. It's too frustrating.

Grind like a madman on Ubese Shirts in practice mode. They are useless and will net you 126 xp each. You must use a personal crafting station or droid, but definitely worth it. They only use 3 resources, and no cloth's or segments.

Surpass all the people trying to sell thier worthless non-master crafted armors. Grind you way to master, make good armor, never look back.

Once you are a master then you need to start tracking down the resources you'll need to make the best armor. Some resources are easy to find. Some are Hard. eg: Beyrllius copper was hard to find. Start collecting it now. Its common since the last shift. It may soon disappear for another month or two.

My biggest money maker was the PSG Mk 3. I sold them at 20k each on bloodfin. Took me a while, because I had to have wearables factory for 4 components and equipment factory for 2 components. I never seemed to have enough resources to make more than 30 components at a time. You have to have 90 of the deflector particle piece. Once I finally had enough, I didn't know how to use factory crates in the input hopper of my factory, so I could only make 12 or so at a time. Factories were haveing problems eating components when you did anything wrong. But once I finally had a few crates of them, it was worth it. They give TERRIBLE experience. Don't grind them for xp. Only make them for income. You won't be selling armor, you will need to sell PSG's. Don't bother with mk 2 either. You might be able to sell a few Mk 1.

I wish you the best of luck.

If you have tailor and a wearable factory(every armorsmith should have at least one) then make you own synth cloth, then find some crappy metal and make mabari BP's at over 400xp per.

Armor uprade kits work too, but much slower(a little over 60xp per), need 3 general crafting tools at least, alot of clicking.

Ubese shirts also good(120+xp), once you get to this level then drop the upgrade kits and grind on them.

FYI since armor coloring is tied to tailor ATM I suggest training in tailor, grind to fieldware 2(reinforced panels) bymaking ribbed shirts and get AT LEAST tailoring 1 for colors. If you want black armor you will have to get up to tailoring 4.
