Nice work! I have found that with armor I could only get it if I had DNA with armor in the first 3 slots. I didn't test this to death, but I also found that experimenting with 2 points in Physique would bring that armor out.

I made a cl 10 with ranged in the following manor.

1 VD

2 VD

3 Diseased Nuna

4 Night Spider

5 Diseased Nuna

1 point exp in physical

1 poit exp in mental

Result

Mild Poison

Mild Disease

Ranged YES
