As we all know experimenting is a long task. It is even longer when you try to document.

I will publish my various experiments as I do them. Not all of these are intended to make the biggest and best right now. What I want to show is WHAT went in - EXACTLY - what the results were and what experimentation I did.

This is a slow process and again I only show these so that we might have some documented results to show what does work.

This is my second published experiment.

What I have noticed so far and please verify, is that the resists seem to be an average of all the 5 slots for that resist.

What seems to show though is that it treats a vulerable in a slot as zero for the average.- (in my sheets I left blank) But what is interesting in both of these publishes and other experiments is that even if I have 20 percent across one resist, the results are not 20, but zero making it vulnerable in that resist. It will calculate a resist value as long as two or so of the the samples for that resist are higher than 20. Just not sure how high has to be.

Also in this experiment I had 2 samples that had light armor. 2 samples are not enough to carry to final creation though it seems. Or maybe I had in wrong slots.

A point to note is that I am in the field doing these experiments and using my droid with crafting staion in it, so some results may not be as high as my regular station. The intent though here is to test certain combinations and not try for the most excellent results.

Most notable is that even though not all 5 samples had ranged attack the final was ranged.

Also sadly, even though all five DID have light armor the final did not have light armor.

May previous thoughts on the resists on final has changed. If you look on the spreadsheet all samples had 0 resist for acid. But on the final the acid resists ended up at 15%. Please note that non of the samples were actually Vulnerable to acid, they just had zero resist to acid. This shows that there is a negative number for the resist when vulernable.

As for the special attacks, even though 3 of them were all the same, the end results for both special 1 and 2 ended up favoring the Kwi Pack Leader which only filled 2 slots. Postulation -- there maybe a priority given to a higher attack form?

I do hope that someone is able to take this data and form it into something more coherent that my poor ramblings.

I will try some different combos tomorrow.

From what I've read in other threads, Ranged in the Mental slot should give Ranged in the result.

Thanks Leothric for the suggestion on ranged.

I tried putting just a single ranged sample in mental slot and it WORKED!!!

So if you want ranged attack put ranged attack in Mental. Se my latest results here:

I was highly disappointed though in that my base combine was amazing and the hardiness and fortitude actually dropped!! As a result the Physique percent was low and I had hoped to get it over 50 to test for armor pass through for final.

But in as much as I accomplished what I wanted to show this was a good run.

Now I need to find out how to get armor to pass through. Any ideas besides getting Physique over 50%? What slot does light armor sample need to be in?

Nice work Honnor. I actually just got started on this idea this morning about keeping a record of my results. So I am going to add to it as I go along......using powerful beasties and low beasties.....We gotta have some negative controls in here somewhere Nothing like a Gnort DNA sample set hehehehe.

I tried for 500+ in hardiness and fortitude. On a pure average it should have made it based on samples. Unfortunately I only got a good on the base combine and it dropped both numbers below 500. The results showed no armor at that point.

I the put 3 points into experimentation on Physique and WA LAA !!! 54% and I had light armor!!!!

Since I had a ranged in Mental for a sample I now had generic DNA with ranged and armor. A good step forward.

My next question is ... if you had no DNA samples which had an armor rating and you got Physique over 50% does armor automatically appear? If not then what slot does armor sample need to be in? In my last test all five had armor.

Speculations?? or does anyone have some documented proof?

My latest result show that you do NOT need armor rating in all five slots to get armor on final.

If you would please advise me I would appreciate some help. Please look at the stats in the last column and tell me what skin I should put this into that will give me the best chance to be able to get the best quality DNA samples from it for future experiments?

Should I make a Kimo out of this? or make a killer bunny? Please give me your ideas.

My latest experiment shows a couple interesting things.

One, that just because I had 5 AR1 samples and that the final Physique was 55%, the Light armor did not pass to final. It seems that the total on Physique may not be as important as the fact that BOTH Hardiness and Fortitude must be over 500 in the final.

Aslo of very important note is the fact that while all 5 samples had 0 Acid Resist the final came out with 40 Acid resist. --note: the value on samples was 0 NOT vulnerable.

I hope my charts are easy to read, and PLEASE if you have any suggestions speak up.

Also I should note that this dna template was made from a Kimo CL40 that I created from dna6 test.

The SA1 in Mental and Aggression passed to final. Not sure which one actually did.

But, The SA2 in Aggression is what passed through to final not Mental.

There was no AR on this test.
