E - I agree there's something we're missing from the whole cloning process. I read through the "BioAcademy" thread by Talthazar, and it doesn't appear that anyone has an exact clue yet. It'll take time, and all of us sharing our info to get it I think. Better in the long run tho, as we can continue to sell better and better clones as we evolve.

Star - I have a feeling you're right, I imagine a pvp battle would be rather hectic with everyone using a plague strike/open wounds/poison strike pet.

Has anyone managed to get this to take?

Made 3 creatures using Mantigrue Screecher DNA (nasty nasty plague strike special) in the last 2, last 3, and all 5 slots respectively. Screecher DNA has "unknown" is special1, and "plague strike" in special2. All 3 creatures I made had no special attacks (1 or 2).... anyone else have experience with this?

I think Plague Strike is one of the specials that doesn't carry over into clones, along with Force Strike, Poison Spray and Open Wounds. I've never been able to create a clone with any of these.

As I understand (and have made a few high lvl BE creatures), that no AoE specials will carry over to DNA Sample, or at least the final creature. The reasons they did this was to keep the BE pet from being to stronge (imagine Plague Strike/Open Wound combo!) & still make some wild creatures like the Bull & Screecher special, but with a high lvl or less resist/HAM.

What's with the Necro Posting!? We know that AoE specials don't carry over to the final combine and i'm sure that he eventually found that out

the area poison and disease specials dont and i hope never will transfer across whne a pet is be'd it means thers actually something that makes the rare wild pets worth taming with the present state of wild vs be pets its nice that wild still has something to offer a ch beyond asthetics and the fact its wild 2 specails out of all those possible in this game isnt much to remain out of the crafting potential, especialyl as tohse 2 specials are only found on rare tames these rare pets are the onyl real end game type content for ch's so they damn well better offer those dedicated enoguh tot h prof fto seke tmh eout something beyond the effort required to obtain them, all other end game type content offers something special so why not the end game content for a mch?

may supruse you but i read the post and it was new to me(and on the first page fo the forums so i responded to it, and if your point was just the age of the original thread you had no reason or ned to attkac ch's especially if your attacking a fellow be woh happens to be a ch as well and trying to claim some form of bias in tiher posting due to ch affiliation (i noticed you picked up i was ch but remarkably failed to pick up on me being mbe, both are in my sig (and ahve bene for months)or were you just looking for something to attkac someone about?

i didnt check the date of the originla thred i just saw something on the first page of the forums that i wanted to say something aoubt so i did, it was dreadged fomr the depths by the perosn posting before me, les sthna 2 hours prior to my post yet you attacked someoen who tried to contribute tot he thred and ignored th eone who brought it back yet claim its being brought bakc was your point, so if your point really was jsut the date then let this die, if not feel free to contradict yourself again, jsut sotp attacking poplee at rnadom and the forusm will be a better place for everyone woh has someting to say you dont like, and if you cna hold off on th peronsal attacks your own opinions might jsut wind up holding some weight for those who read them
