Thread: Stim D's

This post is really discouraging.

I presently only use Stim C's.. because I haven't got around to building a factory yet.

However, I use 800+ quality components, non-advanced components... and I create fully experimented Stim C's at my personal crafting station that can heal for ~600 health on average. Just today, I was healing somebody's pet for 500-600 heals on average using my home-grown C's.

I do experiement on all components... the bio controller, chem release and liquid dispenser. Maybe it's because factories still ignore experimental bonuses?

I notice that Stim D's require factory-produced Bios. If those bios are non-experimented (e.g. factory ignores experimental bonuses) then your going to get a pretty crappy D for all the extra resources and effort it needs.

Ok, this may seem like a pretty noobish question, but I hit Master Medic then Novice Doctor today and I was wondering how I get the last component for Stim D's. The Factory crate thing. If anyone could explain the process of getting these I would be very grateful.

Sure thing, I just started making them myself.

So you're wondering what it means to have two identical Bio Effect controlers right?

Well, all that means is you have to get two Bio Effect controls from the same factory produced batch of BEC's. Meaning, you can't just craft two BEC's and stick them in, you have to make a schematic, run it through a factory, and then take the stims the factory makes and stick them in.

Now I be you'll love Stim D's since I can get them over 500 healing power! (Boy was I happy to see that!)

**edit**.. that sucks. There's no way I can afford a factory on a medic's salary. These 20 credit tips just aren't going to cut it.

If you cannot afford the factory itself, buy the Bio controllers from someone who has one. Any food/chem factory can make them. Just commission a couple crates; that will make you 50 stims (with no fails). Use the best OQ ingrediants you can find.

Do you have to have a factory to make these. If so I will start saving up for a factory and a house now.

You don't "have" to own a factory. You can buy crates of Biological Controlers off the bazarre for 3000.

You need a private crafting station. You can usually find these for sale by Architects. Many people have them in their houses too.

Or you can get a driod with a Private food and chemical crafting station inside of it. I got one for 8k, it also came with a 110% medical rating. Well worth the moola.

Another thing to keep in mind is when you do get to the point of making a stim D, they require 2 factory made Advanced Biological Effect Controlleror just regular BEC's, but still 2 of em from a factory.
