I was wondering since these require a personal crafting station, will a Droid with a crafting plug in work ? Now that these are starting to appear I would hope so but not sure.

Or do I have to buy a whole factory ?

To my knowledge all you need is a house, or someone elses house you have rights to and put one there. I don't think you need an actual factory unless you are talking about the "Biological Effect Controlers" the we need two of from a factory crate.

All I used for my Stim D's was my R5 with the crafting module and a crate of factory BEC's a friend of mine brought to me. Worked like a charm.

I just finally got a factory up and running and emptied my harvesters and started making some stim d's after gettin some bio-controllers out of the factory

Well anyway, I am gettin about 455 health and action heal for the stim d with about 35 charges...is this good? What is the average

That's pretty good for a stim D. With average resources and good experimentation, that's about where they fall.

My stim Ds that i popped out last night had 40 charges and healed 583 health/action damage. I was using fairlygood resources (organic with 840 oq and 800 pe, fiber with 730 oq) and pretty good quality standard parts. I am a master doctor, which helps, since i have full assembly skill and 10 experimentation points.

I am assuming you are using basic components? If you are using advanced you should be able to push them much higher, like almost 700 base heal.

Ipushed out an 850 // 41 charge Stim-D today with Chemistry components i consider to be garbage. The end combine Fiber and Org were good (1000 OQ fiber, 965 OQ 950 PE Org) but the rest was basically trash for Advanced.

I have a question on this. When you get the bio-thingies out, are you supposed to be able to 'remove from crate' on it? I kept trying to do this and it would go down to 1 (only made 2). and then pop back up to 2. Is that normal?

It would not let me add from the crate directly to the component slot in the crafting kit.

Since when have factories ignored experimental bonuses? How do you think you get mass production of the top end weapons? The few cases where factories cant reproduce experimental quality is when the schematic itself is bugged (as with powerups).

Unfortunately, that is normal Its a bug. Wait about 30 minutes, and the crate should fix itself from the 1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2 bug .

I usually just make my components the day before, and leave them in the crate overnight, and not worry about the bug. It's almost as if, it's having to wait for the game to save or something before you can pull items out of it.

Remember that even the WORST advanced sub-component is still way better than the BEST standard sub-component.

So if you're wondering why people talk about 700/40 normal ona C-stim and you can only make 500/30, then try using advanced components. Makes helluva difference.
