Who ever said CSR uses their brains. People that are more knowledable about the profession the the developers, like Tal-N, get the shaft for having a superior mind.

And for those who didn't play EverQuest. CSR in any SOE game is the biggest joke in the gaming industry.

Wow, Sumo...that's like...what...twice you're on the same side of the fence as Tal-N in two weeks? Perhaps they banned him since you guys usually are on the OPPOSITE sides .

In all seriousness, Tal-N has been a major source of knowledge for me and he is an exquisitely talented bioengineer. I think he is a critical contributor to these forums and would be disappointed if it's more than a 24hr ban.

Wouldn't it make more sense to delete a thread if the devs were disapproving rather than leaving the thread and banning the poster? Hmmm...weird. Well...hope the 24hr thing is the deal.

Well, it sounded like he was calling people nazis and got banned for a day.

Tough to tell with the edit but it sounds more like he telling someone else not to. I was thinking the reference to another game might be what got him banned for a day.

Yes but if you keep reading down the thread Garva kept talking about all the other games he plays. makes no sense whatsoever. i am almost afraid to make my opinion known for fear od being banned. But i guess the 1st amendment does not apply to SOE forums.

This is a lot like the army. We are here to protect democracy, not practice it.

Well if the mod has any association with the Jewish faith, I'd imagine the reference to Nazism didn't sit very well.

You care a lot about the devs and their game. That same care isnt returned to you. Still want to put the devs ahead of your own fun? Let this be a lesson to you people.

Then why wasn't the word nazi edited out? they did edit the post...I enjoy reading Tal-N's posts, having a terminalcase of smarta$$ myself, and he's done a great deal for the BE profession...if he's not back in 24 hours I go bye-bye too, that will be the last nail in SWG's coffin for me...
