What a BH need for sure is defenses against jedi.
what shall i hunt jedi if i cant hit em?
what shall i hunt jedi if they have no probs to get us down?
what would be nice is some special forceprotection (maybe inculded as armour)
and the ability to ignire the blasterdefelction they got.
LLC is nice but not very effective against jedi..
well yes u can say now that i could grind meelecombat.....
no real BH depends on melee..... Boba Fett for example: did u see him fighting in meele combat?
my dear devs: if u really want this BH prof keep alive change their issues against jedi. we have no chance against aan jedi for real.

oh and one thing:
,ake thos BH missions available for groups
would improve the expierence in teamplay
and it would make the live of an jedi much harder to face a group of well organiced BH's

1.) Fast Blast needs to be made useful. Either give it a state effect like intimdate or freeze a player or give it more power to one random HAM.
2.) BHs need defense.
3.) Increase payout and difficulty of MBH missions
4.) Add accuracy and speed skill mods to MBH for LLC
5.) Add more player bounties (smugglers, high ranking officals, etc).

1. Weapon switch delay - makes usin the carbine uselss
2. Long Range LLC special
3.BH Armor - make it BH only cause we are the ones that need LS defense more than anyone else, also make ut easy for a BH to get.
4. Much bigger pay out for jedi bounties - make it tru to life, a 100K or so to whack the person
5. Master BH hunt jedi only

I would like to know if anything of this will be addressed...
The LLC accuracy is horrible really.. Imagine this... I MISS RANCORS!!!!
Specials w/o buffs are impossible.. you loose SO much that is not worh to use specials...
I sure hope the DEVs are seeing this thread and address these issues.
Im thinking on going TKA and BH 4,0,1(as i have it already),0 then to stand a chance...
I was thinking on having the flamethrower column for comand and maybe one or 2 on heavy weapons...
Jedis are Jedis and one can understand that, but look at Ep2 jango kills a jedi with 3 gun shots only (true his head was chopped off by MWindu) but still.
I thought that when i got to use the LLC i was going to be the king of the hill... not going to happen...
I know frank Dux did solo missions for the CIA (remember bloodsport with jean claude van dam?) but i mean... I dont see how can a tka hit me at 30m range and kill me when im using the LLC.. **edit**??? kind of pointless...
TKA is way overpowered... There are more TKAs than ANY other profession... all there has to be done to TKAs is ... Shorten the range. to 3m which is about the range in real life.

1. Make ranged attacks effective against jedi. I dont want to be a space pirate and run around with a sword and I dont want to be a space ninja (TKM). In 99% of the star wars lore the toughest guys (not including jedi) always used ranged weapons yet in the game the space ninja rules.
2. Weapon switch delay, should noteffect BH or maybe MBH.
3. Payouts - come on, droids, weapons, shuttle, cloning, jedi destoys your vehicle costs and what is the payout ??? Make the reward match the effort.
4. LLC is useless
5. MBH should get some kind of special or something to put him on an even playing field as a jedi, maybe not a master jedi but the rest. If not, everyone will be jedi after the next publish. If jedi continue to dominate the BH's then what do you think will become of the BH's? We will become Jedi (and the game will become jedi wars) or we will quit and move on to another game.

Basically i think bounty hunters need to be better at pvp as they are the only profession with access to pvp missions. i think the bh profession could also be enhanced by allowing players to place bounties on other players heads at high costs therefore rich players would not have to take abuse from a lesser, poorer player. High ranking imps and rebs could also have bounties.
although this aint exactly part of the issuse in discussing pvping i believe that it could be improved by the total abolishment of buffing. Why?..because im sick of trying to find a buff..wasting about 30 mins everytime so i can do anything in the game. also i have to pass on many duels when im unbuffed as the other player is buffed. it just wasts time and is perhaps the most random thing ever givingdocs the right toactlike they are somesort of jedi master. i mean whever canme up with buffs must be mad??...did luke skywalker get buffed before fighting vader??..pls tell me what u think about these ideas.

NO NO NO NO NO!
Until Saber Block is balanced, this is a very bad idea. Ranged weapons suck vs a Jedi with SB as it currently exists. Until this imbalance is fixed, I vote NO on #5. In fact, it would be a Jedi dream.

1) Remove buffing system, or make it so any player with Novice Medic (Medicine Use +5) can buff. Doctors could manufacture and sell buffing stimpacks and not lose their incentive or income stream.
2) Make our supposed High Offense work. None of our shots get through Jedi defenses, and many of our specials don't do much.
3) Range for Light Lightning Cannon specials should be increased.
4) Increase Jedi Mission payout.
5) Maybe this is too real-world, but when was the last time a swordsman won a gun fight? Sure if they get close enough they are extremely and painfully deadly, but if someone with a gun sees them coming they aren't going to get close enough.

I know a lot of this has been mentioned, but here goes anyway:
1) Give Master Bounty Hunter Intimidate Special
2) No Delay for weapon switch for BHs (or commandos)
3) LLC use rifle stats, plus get +10 speed, +10 Accuracy stats at master
4) Scatter more accurate vs Jedi saber block
5) Higher Payouts for different skill level Jedi starting at 100K for Padawin, plus more money for MBH (gotta make MBH worth more than just sprayshot)
6) Make some kind of armor withresist vs light saber (doesn't have to be BH only and doesn't have to resist everythingelse)
7) Facton based BH missions for Valarian, Jabba, Ect You go get missions from them personally.
8) Master BH with more informants in same city as mission terminals.
9) Use 63 skill points after master bounty hunter to become elite bounty hunter. 4 skill trees to improve the offensive outputand tracking skills, instead of having to go into other professions. This will also allow hybrid BHs to still exist (nothing wrong with that, the more people hunting jedi the better!)
10) Bounty Hunter only carbine (Stun or Blast would be nice)

1) MBH needs something more worth while when the skill point requirement was lowered I considered droping out of llc and droping to invest 3 cause there was no point to keeping them or MBH.
2) Give us a little more melee defence I'm a MBH and a CH 3-2-2-4 and have a +2 to melee defence. I understand that with the lower sp cost for MBH that one can pick up professions to suplement this but a total of +2 after masterin Marksmen and Bounty Hunter is a bit of a joke.
3) Player Bounties need to be implemented. One kind of solution is to use the Bounty Hunters as enforcers for you devs. Some one violates a rull of conduct in game or even on the boards and you place them on the Bounty terminal for an ammout corespondant with the infraction. This gives you another option beyond banning to enforce the rulls.
4) With the nixing of status changing attacks bounty carbine has lost some of its appeal. Perhapse either comming up with new affects for the attacks or changing them all together.
5) In a game where a TKM can make an easy mill in a day or two the bounty payoffs feel likr a jip. After obtaining invest 4 I felt no need to take on bounties while one could make more in a short time allotment power hunting. I think however that our tracking time is fine and we need not faster droids but perhase harder bounties with higher pay offs that would give us a bit more purchasing power in the game.

There is no more pressing issue to ranged BH's than balancing out Saber Block.

Would be nice, not one I'd considered before but would be nice. In deference to some of the others below, however, I could live without it.

Absolutely ... BHs (and Commandos)are all about their gear and weapons ... either no delay for BH/Commando or a much shorter delay than what is applied to all others.
3) LLC use rifle stats, plus get +10 speed, +10 Accuracy stats at master
Bingo ... big time. The combat info already calls it the Lightning Rifle ... leads me to think it was originally designed to work off the Rifle tree from Marksman. As it currently stands, the rifle skills are needed to grind to Master Marksman and then you generally never touch a rifle again. The problems with the LLC being seen as useless due to low speed and accuracy get a big help simply letting the BH draw on his previous training with rifles to improve his LLC skill.
4) Scatter more accurate vs Jedi saber block
Very much agreed ... but then same goes for the LLC itself ... how does a jedi saber-block a huge blast of electrical energy? Both of these weapons should have some varying degrees of better effectiveness in getting thru a saber-block based simply on the nature of the weapons themselves. At the very least they should have a special for each that allows for better effectiveness against saber-block.

I agree wholly with different level jedis having different payouts, but I'd be happy with just seeing the payout increased to something better than what it currently is across the board. Right now the money simply isn't worth it ... I can do NPC missions for more money and have less headache. The "thrill" is nice and all when hunting jedi, but BHing is mostly a business proposition not a thrill-seekers undertaking. The old 150k payout was maybe too much ... but a jedi, even a lower ranked one, should pay more than the 22k you get from some random Fugitive Pirate Captain or such.
6) Make some kind of armor withresist vs light saber (doesn't have to be BH only and doesn't have to resist everythingelse)
I think the advent of the Mandolorian and RIS armors are generally meant to sorta address this, but I wouldn't mind seeing the ability to get these armors be a bit less impossible. Much like the first point in this post, however, this is one where if the other stuff was done, I could live without this.
7) Facton based BH missions for Valarian, Jabba, Ect You go get missions from them personally.
Not a bad idea, but again there's other stuff on this liss I'd rather see dealt with first. These types of missions would be a nice touch content-wise, but not as pressing a need in my eyes.

This one I don't think needs to be done ... I think the general arrangement of informants, trainers, and terminals are decent enough. Could they be better? Sure ... but I think any BH being honest with himself knows they can get by just fine with how it is.

Nice idea but ... nah. I think much of this could be dealt with by simply putting some real teeth into the skills you get as master BH. Master BH should have a better degree of defensive ability afforded to them ... that is the biggest shortfalling ... a simple +7 ranged when they're supposed to be hunting a melee-based character. Up that to a +12 maybe and add on a +12 melee and a possible 1 rank of melee mitigation and you fix a whole lot without having to make a new tree.
