What's so insane about it? Its a +25 weapon experimentation, been a few of those found already.
i'd like to see 5 different kinds of skill tapes
1 that grants a skill mod to
assembly(any system)
1 that grants a skill mod to
experimentation(any system)
1 that grantsskill mods to
theassembly AND experimentation
ofEVERY system
1 that grants a random amount of SW exp
and
1 that grants a random amount of SW exp and skill mods to assembly and experimentation of every system
it would make for interesting loot combinations and make some SW's highly skilled in certain areas

The novice version of the skill is well known not to land hardly ever. I am unsure whether this is a bug or whether tapes will effect it.
On a side note, Medical Warfare Efficiency tapes that apply to CM - what do they do? Effect strength, duration, hit chance or nothing at all? Sorry if this has been asked already but I couldnt see it....

saber speed is broken atm. none of the mods work, neither ls speed or gen melee speed.
How do we know it is broken?

There is a huge boom in the skill tape sales at the moment, but I am wondering if they really make that much difference.
As MLS are you not already capped on your combat speed with your lightsabre? If not what is the speed cap?
I dont want to waste millions on speed tapes to find that at MLS they dont make any difference. Does anyone know the actual calculations used in SWG for determining MDPS? I was told that speed caps at 1 attack per second, is that correct?
Thanks in advance
I would hope attacks are not quicker than once per second or this would be a huge problem lol.
There is technically no speed cap, just diminishing returns. At MLS you will see little to no difference in your speed if you have speed mods. At x4x4 LS, you will see a huge difference......to the point you will hit like a MLS. The only way to really increase your speed significantly is using speed buffs (doc or Jedi). I believe you can also still use that mushroom pie as well. If your modified speed is low enough in the saber (I've seen some below 1.2), it might be possible to hit once a second with a buff and pie.

clicky2
i beleive there are also threads in the rifle and carbine forums about the same topics, but i'm to lazy to go digging for them.
Hi. I was moaning about LS speed months ago... clicky
The only thing that seems to make any difference are the buffs, be it doc or force speed.
