Thread: Advice
Thanks for the advise guys.
But i thinks ive decided this would be more fun with a fleet anyway. I really hate doing big missions alone. But now that I have my t4 reward wep, i can deal alot more damage.
anyone here on eclipse and wanna run with me?
just go in and camp it... plenty of other folks should show up... if they don't, give it a whirl anyhow... but I had about 5 people show up and group with me while I was waiting... all were coming in alone themselves

One Vette, you all get the kill if you damage it and are in-sector. I've also heard you get the kill just by being grouped, but I'd prefer not to rely on that. I hope my Vette shows up soon...
yeah being grouped does NOT give credit... I know from my first go at it... I lagged and got pasted... the rest of the group didn't wait till I got back to finish the vette off. No credit
Be within 1km of the vette when it is destroyed and have damaged a sub component... group matters not (someone else will have to confirm or deny if killing an escort fighter or GB counts at all, but I would assume it does not).
I run out of Force most of the time and have to run and regen, and sometimes I end up having to just run instead of fighting.
My Saber isn't the best either.
The stats are:
FPC: 21
Damage: 494 - 592
Mod DPS (Not that it matters): 449.12
SAC: 95
I know this doesn't rate on the highest meters. But it seems to me that I run out of Force a lot due to all my damage being reduced by Force and I have no innate armor. I don't spam specials and wait to use my KD for right times, but it seems that the good BH are healing faster and mind costs are a lot lower then the mind costs I have.
If you have this template, can you help me out on what you use normally when dealing with these strong type BH?
Remember, if you want to finish him fast, you need to know your MLS abilities. Here is what I try to do, and what seems to work for me if I want to end the fight quickly.
(force sapped and stasis'd and ready to fight)
Usualy a couple saber hits, maybe a leg sweep. Get his health down to about 75% or so. Most good BH will not heal til their health gets below this point. Once there, Armour break (have to make it stick) root, he SHOULD be at about 60-65% health, with the current speed probs Jedi have, you have to spam the following hits. Saber throw, head hit, saber throw, head hit. Back and forth, if you have done it right, you 'should' incap him, but even if you don't he will be VERY low on health. You are now on the offense, and hes 2 heals behind you. Healing is his first priority now, if he skips a heal, you will be right back on him, hes mostly likely gonna try to root you, kd you, spam startle shot, something to get him some time, stay on top of him, and keep hitting him. His mind will be dropping, and of course, you will be reapplying force sap BEFORE its timer runs out. Remember, you can apply it over and over again, and it will just restart the timer. A CM with no mind, is no more. When fighting CM/BH it's about getting offensive control, and forcing them to heal, otherwise, there mind won't move, and they will run you out of force. I hope some of this might help. The best thing to do, is find a CM/BH (group with them so you don't get vis) and duel them, over and over again. Find out things that work, see for yourself at what point on his health bar you should go into your KD power hitting, and when you shouldn't.
Your problem is the saber, period.
fc21 and max dmg 592 is very far from what can make you a BH's killer. Seeing sac95 I can say it's not your fault, just this damm pearl's drop problem we all have.
With this saber I think the best thing to do is stasi&run. This is not beeing coward. If it ends you are alive, you won!
