About how long does it take a Bantha to "grow up" in order for it to be mounted?

been gone for about 6 months...got back a couple of weeks ago...


I have a new cupa i found, yet cannot mount..did they nerf mounts while i was gone? anyone care to list the available mounts?


Bantha (only ch now?)

varactyl (lvl 10 digital download)

varactyl (lvl 65 digital download also, a crock if i ever saw it, and i did digitally download)



these are the only ones i've seen in game since i got back


ancient rep fliers would be nice .........YAHHHHHHHH RIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Cu pas from the wild are mountable....


i think banthas you get from BEs are mountables..... i found a lvl 10 bol that is mountable... all i can really list

Yah, got mine from the wild (he has a ranged spitting attack) does it take a certain lvl b4 he can be mounted? fully grown? used to be you could stunt their growth at a certain lvl if you mounted, but who would do a thing like that?

a cupa can be trained as mount when it reaches level 8.
banthas are level 13 and 14 (bulls) now - but u can tame level 10 dwarf banthas which are also mountable.

the cl65 varactyl can be achieved with a short quest on kashyyk (talk to pirus or whatshisname - in the rodian hunters camp - the one with the varactyl by his side).

best mounts beside the master ch varactyl are brackasets (female level 63, surefoot level 64, male level 65) from dathomir.

Not that big of a 'crock' seeing as the people who bought the boxed version get a BARC speeder instead. Which is worth alot more ingame.

giant carrion spats (corellia) can be mounted as babies, which is convenient if you're in a hurry. but at level 9 i think it is you get the option to either stop your pet from growing so it can still be a mount or let it ride and it wont let you ride it. on a side note, that seemed bugged when it happened to me, i had to tell it to keep growing every time i logged in until i accidentally stopped it

Anyone get a critter up to the correct size to make it a mount yet? I scooped a Carrion Spat I am working on to get it mountable, and Ive rolled it quite a few times, (something to the amount of 40-48 points) but so far no option to mount. (Its about as tall as my wookie)


Im scared its broken and Ive wasted all this time working on a no ability pet.

I've gotten 3 splats and a giant splat to mount, also the 3 that had abilities when I tamed them have a total of 5 abilities when Fully trained The Giant splat has 5 abilities and not at the point where it says fully trained.
