AFK can't be done. You have to sit and click the resources, and there is probably one in the stickies.

if ur lookin for a crafting macro visit the droid engineer faq. It has an excellent explanation of how to put one together. Also, as the above post stated this is not an afk macro, you have to be there and click the resources into place.

You can't AFK crafting, it requires you to click on the resources to add them into the schematic.
You'd need to use a clicker program, which is against the terms of use for the game. So, no, as far as I know there are no macros that let you be AFK and craft.

I have used a variation of this macro and it really automates everything but double clicking on your resources.
For the F1 script i added a few more lines to make a total of 8 different calls for 8 different weapon crafting tools.
For the F5 script i subsequently used a few more to make a total of 8 macros. On the last one called I added /ui action toolbarSlot00; which calls the F1 Script all over again.
To use: Put the F1 Script in F1, Put the F5 script in F5-F8 and Shift F5-F8, (Shift F8 being the script with this ^ /ui command added), and weapons crafting tools in F9-F12 and Shift F9-F12. Before you start, type in /dump in the chat line but don't hit enter. Hit F1 and just double click all day long. When you want to stop just hit enter.
It works really well for me. You might have to play with the pause values depending on what you are crafting and your connection speed. I know there are many macros out there. i found this one to be best for me. I know this is an old post but I haven't seen anything else out there that works quite as good as this one so it deserves a /bump.

This system does work well, thank you! I've modified my macro to loop thru my four tools twice, for a total of eight crafts per run. The items i'm grinding all take under 20(ish) counts, so i've not had any problems with out running my tools. Having more physical tools isn't really nessisary unless you have long craft times. Granted, a run of eight tools will be alot more usefull for long duration crafts, but basic grinding i think can be done with fewer.
I need to do a stop watch run tommorow, and calculate how tight i can cut the pauses (currently at 7, so i have a bit of room there)
Anyone have a reference ratio for craft time vs complexity? ex: complexity 14, ratio is X, so total time will be 14*X? That can be used to fine tune a crafting macro to maximize work per tool and time. Ya never know...7 tools may work better than 8...
