Thread: FAQ
At 1,1,0,0 you want a Greater Sludge Panther, at level 23 they do decent damage (240-250 I think) and have a pretty good Kinetic Resistance a.k.a *Good Tank*
I'm only on 2,2,0,0 close to 3,2,0,0 andmy GSP is still probably my best Tank.
You can find them on Talus somewhere between Dearic and the Imperial Starport.

Question : Where and when can I Tame a Rancor?
Answer: You best bet to try at master CH and still tuff. You can find rancors on the planet Dathomir, head to the north outpost and from there head dead west you will run into a ton of rancors. You will also run into Gnarled Rancors which are CL45 and tample at 4 3 x x.
Question : Where do I find grual maulers?
Answer : You find them also on Dathomir. Head to teh south outpost and from there I find them south west 3k or so out in the desert area.
Question: What creatures no longer spawn and I must be forced to buy them from some one to have it?
Answer : To my understanding the Kilnik queen, frenzied graul, Merik queen and king and merik harvester, Gaping spider queen and recluse. Also Archnoid(sp) warrior, webmaster or any of its kind no longer spawn. I may have missed some and misspelled few things but should get the idea across.
I saw a Kliknik Queen two days ago in the temple. She was alive and well enough to kill me, although she was down to about 3500 when I snuck in using Mask Scent.
Wookies can Tame and Call a Graul mauler at 2,2,0,0. I am a wookie.. Did it... Catch me in-game and I'll show ya..

This may have been asked before but with the new patch looming large I need to know what creature handler skill is required to train a mount. I'd like to know if they creature handler I work with has the skill set necessary to help me sell mounts.
Thanks,
This might have been posted before, as i have not had time to read though all of these great post's, but just incase some of you have problems taming pets and when they attack Mom and Dad might agro, well what i do is put up my peace button on. this way you dont auto attack the mob. 2 good points on this, first you wont kill the baby your trying to tame, second if they are social group you wont attack and get the whole camp on you... i found this a life saver with my Crimson Razor Cat as the little begger attack me 3 times but was able to run him out of the camp and not get agro from the rest of the pack.

I'm not sure if this has been covered, and it may be quite obvious (although it wasn't for me...) but here's a couple of FAQ points on selling creatures. Note that because I'm still a Novice at 1, 1, 1, 1 this guide is for players of that skill level, so the use of the Transfer command is not included.
Q: How do I give a creature to another player?
A: Use the trade window (or transfer command if you have it). Note that the creature in your datapad may be picked up and dropped into the trade window like any normal item.
Q: I've given a pet to somebody, but they can't train it. What do I do?
A: You must train the pet before handing it over. Ask the buyerwhich command words they'd like the pet training with (plus a name if they want one) and train the pet as normal with the command words they've asked for. If you're so inclined, you could charge them extra for this (i.e. customising the command words), but for the amount of work it takes on a pre-trained pet(about 5 mouse clicks), it's not really good form to do so. Once trained, use the trade window to give it to them.
Q: Why can't I give a non-CH my Mountain Dewback?
A: The Dewback's CL is too high. Non-CH players can only use creatures with a CL of 15 or below (soon to be 10). This is based on the maximum CL of the pet when it's matured, not on the current value, so even though it may only be CL 8 in your datapad, the CL < 15 limit is based upon the MATURE creature's CL.
Q: Where do I find the CL of each pet?
A: If the pet is fully matured, you'll find this data in your datapad. If it's not, try here: http://swg.warcry.com/data/creatures/
Hope this helps.
