Thread: MILK?

I went to "panther city" the other night, and hung out there for a couple hours, staring at piles. I looted about 100cr from them, but no milk, lol. If anything, milk is probably underpriced. No amount of money would make me face that much boredom again.

4000 milk?

i have spend an entire spawn period looting milk, about 8 days on talus. I have gotten 128 domesicated and 120 wild milk. only 2 of the 3 piles ever spawns milk and not all the time. its a 25 minutes timer. I don't think 4000 is possible unless it is duped.

Milk is a fairae story and doesnt exist. I once asked a golden orb of knowledge (i looted it off of a dead force sensitive nerf herder) about it. And it told me to "please ask again later"

"outlook hazy..."

Ok, ok, enough with the magic 8-ball jokes. Legend says that in the deep mists of ancient Beta history, there were creature harvesters which could automatically gather resources like meat, hide, bone, and milk. These were apparently found to horn in on the Scout's territory, so were removed. But while meat, hide, and bone are abundantly available, all babies were apparently weaned, so milk can not be found on animals.

Fortunately (?!?), this resource was still listed in the global NPC loot table, so the intrepid chef can spread genocide across the land, hoping for that creamy goodness. There's also rumors of a mystical spring on Lok which occasionally oozes milk into debris fields.

another idea for the milk problems ( probably an old one, but I am a n00b would be to add a "milk" and "harvest" commands on BE clone radial menues. Stats on the milk and creature foods harvested could depend on the quality and stats of the samples used to make the clone. The planet types could depend on which creature skin is used for the clone.

another option would be a BE player city building that would "produce" the far too rare and hard to obtain resources that some schematics depend on. It's not that hard to run a fish farm.

yea great it exists...if you have 3 days to get 12 of it and can fight people off the little spawn for that long. Or you can pay 3k cpu for it so you can make a +120 drink...

yea party Im excited Can i have my fairy tale back Mr Mean person? I really would rather consider milk a fairy tale than have to stare at how idiotic and cruel this game is.

For bioengineers milk exists ona rare scale but makes a nice item. For chefs...well uhh what milk I just stack mine on the floor at drool at it.

Boy, I'd have to agree on that comment. 4k of the same type of milk. Fat chance.

As a person with a master CH and working towards master chef. If i found milk i'd likely give it to the guild BE to make the creature taming cloth. Sad but true. If i want to drool at milk. I can go to an automated bartender, grumble stupid machines... and buy them for display

It's not that hard to run a fish farm.

Yea, that is what I want. I picture myself in the future having a farm on the lake outside the city I live in. I want a dairy farm, with a couple rooms plus pasture land. Next to that I will put down my fish farm, with a dock on the lake and next to that will be the oyster farm. If those structures had enough room and storage, I may actually move out of my city home and move out to the farm. I know it's a long shot to hope for such structures in the future, but I think they would be neat.

And the idea of having an option come up on the radial is great. I have always thought that as I pass a humbabaa or brackaset. If only the radial would pop up an option to "milk." In fact, I am so hopeful for that that I still bring the radial up on some of those domestic type critters just to see if it's there. I mean, why not, every starting planet has certain creatures that would be milk producers. As a Bio Engineer you get an option on the radial to milk a creature, be it Bantha, Ikopi, Fulampaset, Brackeset, Humbabaa etc. etc.
