I usually get milk from hilltop gurrecks on endor. You can get approx. 200 units per creature.

Since my home is on Dant, I'm partial to pikets. They spawn in groups numbering in the hundreds (it seems) sometimes, and you can easily get 20-30k milking one big group. Plus, they give a nice amount per milking (generally around 200-300 units).

I have never tried level vs. amount of milk, but yeah go to dant, if there are enough grinders there just ride around and hit mission pikets. I got a 60k stack of milk like that in a few hours the other day

Pikets on Dantooine sometimes spawn in huge groups and give about 210+ units per creature.

www.swgcreatures.com lets you sort by resource type, so you can find the various animals with wild milk (which is much more common than domesticated milk). And the bigger the CL, it seems the more milk you get per "gather" attempt.
That being said, Pikets are probably the highest CL, non-aggro, commonly spawning creature that can be milked. I suppose you could also try Brackaset females on Dath, but those aren't nearly as common a spawn as Pikets.

I agree; hands down it's pikets. You can get thousands of units from a single lair.

Any high-level milkable creature, as the quantities are based on CL. You can take missions for several milkable animals, too.

bols on dant give milk to, or wait maybe thats lesser bols, been a while since i went out milking 
i remember ppl telling me pre-cu about getting 1k units of milk per fambaa on naboo, not sure about its truth or not but i remember quite a few people stating it

Yeah, the lesser plains bols do too, and they also spawn in large numbers, but the yield per milking is abysmal in comparison to pickets. They take the same amount of time to milk, and because they have dom. milk and pikets have wild, it's not usually worth stopping at the bols unless you're just going to recycle whatever milk you gather from them.

Bolle Bols on naboo! 200, sometimes 300+ per creature! Just get a couple of missions and ride back and forth between them.

has there been a decent spawn of it recently ive been checking SWGResource occasionly and nothing shows up :-(

Not sure if it's still current, but the Dantooine wild milk (pikets) is really good right now. Not sure when/if it's already shifted, but I've gathered around 70k just to keep in storage for later
