I truly hope not!! But my aim is to hit the ground running. I ahve almost enough resources to last me for a little while at least and now have my suit. Just trying to track down a few last bits and pieces before starting my first run...

How do I get milk ?!? and I dont mean by paying someone 50 cpu for it. A guy in my guild is a BH and he would get me some with a small exchange of food. Problem is he has no idea how to get milk either as hes never tried it ( I know). Please post anything to help me out here.

Oh ya me=new to chef

Step 1: Find creatures that can be milked. Easiest way: www.swgcreatures.com-> advanced search -> pick planet and milk type "wild". The bigger the creature and the higher the CL, the more milk you'll get from each one.

Step 2 Have either "mask scent" ability (which a BH will have from the Scout Exploration branch) or a few crates of ranger camo packs for the planet in question.

Step 3: Find creatures of types discovered in Step 1. If you know a good wild spawn, great. Otherwise, missions are good "creature spawners".

Step 4: Mask scent or camo. Get within 5 meters of the creature. Bring up the radial menu (waiting for the little "swirly because I'm thinking" animation to finish) and select "Gather milk".

Step 5: Wait 20-30s, keeping within 5m of the creature at all times, and making sure your mask/camo does not break.

Step 6: Milk! Oh, and it doesn't auto-stack, you'll have to handle that yourself. And if you get more than 100 units from a single creature, you get multiple stacks each 100 or less.

Pikets on Dantooine are a good source, especially if they are still plaguing the planet in herds of dozens of creatures.

gotta use mask scent and right click on a milkable critter and choose the harvest milk option from the radial menu. when i harvested my own milk i did it on pikets and it worked pretty well.

The most important step is going to the store and buying a six pack of beer to speed up the milking fun.

What is a reasonable price to sell milk to the Chefs. I have 25-30K units of milk that I assume is good quality. What should I look for (High PE, FL, OQ but which are more importatn) and what is a reasonable scale.

If I were to put milk and eggs up for sale, what size lots makes sense. Does selling eggs in lots of 100 makes sense? Milk in lots of 1000 make sense?

High flavor and Oq are the only stats that I personally ever looked for in milk . I buy milk withjunk stats for 10-15 cpu and then run it through my recylcer and use it for bantha butter. Since the butter is an additive the stats are not important and I can get away with 200 across the board. If you find a chef that is doing this they will most likely buy milk in any size stack. I have a friend that I get together with and we milk as much as we can when we get a good shift in and that saves me from paying the 50-75 cpu prices that people charge. That is a good starting point for your milk if the stats are high on it and I would say that 10k stacks would be more reasonable. I can not offer advice on the eggs though. That is one fora BE to address.

As a BE/Chef I like to buy my resource in bulk.. the more the better.

Just bought some milk off a vendor.. in stacks of 1k, all 10 stack of it. It was rather annoying. Milk in 5k+ stack would be nice and eggs.. good ones also in stack of 5k.
