Hmmm... let me see if I can put this in a way you will understand it.
ur nt gunna fnid a marco to gte xp whl u r afk here. afk = bad. dis is da ent board, nt teh afk LAME (that's Lazy AFK Macro Entertainer) baord. if uwanna ply teh game, then u play it. don tlet teh game play4 u.

I need to apologize for my earlier post. I was overwhelmed by bot-ishness, and posessed by a strange and powerful presence. I asumed that Shark had searched the boards, read the many posts on this subject, still attempted to find an AFK macro, and I retaliated in a harsh and unfriendly manner. For this, I am sorry.
Shark, most folks here have spent a long, long time working at the keyboard, and are proud of their master title. While it is not yet againstthe EULA (End User License Agreement) to advance your character while AFK, many of us feel it should be.
While you may not want to spend the time to get to know your character, your chosen profession, and your clients, I seriously urge you to spend the time at the keyboard. No, you won't get to master as fast, but when you get there, you'll be proud of yourself for what you've accomplished. Besides... once you get master, what else will you do? The faster you plow through this game, the less there is for you to do.
You should think about what made you decide to play an entertainer. It's not for everyone. If you really want the game to play itself for you, it is your right. But then, what fun is it for you? And if it isn't fun, why pay the $15 per month to play a character you don't enjoy?
One last piece of advice: While text shortcuts come in handy for wireless text messaging, ingame chat, and other places where you may not have a lot of time to say what you need to, here on the boards you have plenty of time to form complete sentances, and without shortcuts. It not only helps us understand what you are trying to say, but also disproves the theory most of the world has, that gamers are illiterate.

Why don't you try just performing anywhere you can, and gaining xp that way? Get in groups for more xp, and more entertainer healing xp.
It really doesn't take that long, and (most) people love having a live Entertainer interact with them.
If you really feel that you need to AFK and gain xp, you'll most likely not get help here. We try to promote the active Entertainer lifestyle, as AFK players give Entertainers a bad reputation of "always" being AFK.

I'm guessing this is another person on the jedi quests. They need an insane amount of XP to convert to FS and I'm already seeing an influx of them in the cantinas AFK'ing their XP. One even wrote a bluesy sounding song to go with it wailing about how they are doing the career they hate the worst just so they can get XP while busy with real life.
It is only going to get worse. Thanks to SOE trying to stop the holo-grind they now have the XP grind and entertaining is the easiest to AFK.

Yeah, the nightmare is slowly being realized. Why fight or heal your way to being a Jedi when you can just AFK the entire time. This very well may be the deathblow to us all.
Friggin' ridiculous. Anyone with half a brain could have foreseen this happening. There is no excuse for having us abandoned by the Devs. This is DUMB.

My hope is that they don't realize that the exp is only good for 4 columns and the least useful ones at that

Sharkhead, I'm sorry you didn't get the answer you were looking for. As you can tell ppl frown upon AFK use. And for good reason. So if you want a macro send me a tell in game or through these forums and I'll send you a good one.
