I use radioactive. I have no idea if anything else works.

Hats off to SOE. Not many companies could take the best MMO on the market and fu*k it up completely, that takes real skill.

I know for a fact wind works like someone said, I would think any kind of power would work though.

I don't mean to sound patronising, so if thats how im coming across feel free to ignore me but, do you have any power in your inventory?

Dam that does sound really patronising lol

The names of some of the resources are misleading - the only ones that can be used as an energy source are wind, solar and radioactive. Reactive gas, petrol fuel, and solid fuels are not valid energy sources.

And those are not stupid questions - those of us that have been here for a while have all tried the same things as well.I remember running missions for days to save up for 5k of reactive gas, only to find out that it wouldn't powerrun the harvester I just placed.

Good luck,

Well I'd never buy/harvest anything other than wind, solar, or radioactive energy/power if I were you, that way you never have to worry about it not working, I know for fact all of those work fine.

I personally only use radioactive b/c I harvest my own and I have fusion generators and that's what the type they harvest

For real resource sales you need a vendor. Yeah you may be able to move some product on the bazaar but at the 6000 cred cap your gonna have to split up the stacks of resources. I do sometimes get stuff off the bazaar but it soooo much easier to buy a stack of 100K off someones vendor.

If you have the money you should go into a different power source. Radioactive is always in demand and will beat out the wind energy anyday. Otherwise you sound like your off to a good start.

Do what Jnath says makes long term sense. To get started you may want to start out selling resources on the bazaar with a comment about a vendor and / or a tell to give you an e-mail. People like knowing that they can obtain resources on a reliable basis and have an idea on your cpu.

Good Luck

If i do put stuff up on the bazaar i usually do it after i take care of other business. That leaves me free time to spam the spatial channel with /shouts about my sales. I say something like: High quality XXXX now available on the bazaar, only XXXX creds, Check them out soon before they are gone.

*looks around for flamers but remembers no one trolls the artisan boards*

Yeah thats right i said it. I will macro (not afk usually since i use the time to craft stuff) a /shout about my sales and spam the hell outta the starport.

/cry.......I had 4 factories, and I had just bought tons of BE addictives (light, med, and Heavy). I had all my subcomponents rdy to go(for bout 15 different foods). Total, I had prob 10mil worth of assest in them, and then they poof! I coulda swore I had matiance in them......Word to the wise, keep your factories on your lots so u get the damn emails! Between that, and me not having any good lubricating oil and berries on starsider.....this sucks

Hmm if they weren't on your lots, then there is only one reason I can see why they would poof if a bug is not involved.

When a character is deleted, all of his/her structures are deleted. If the person who had your factories on their lots deleted their character, then that could be the cause of this.

That really is the pits. Sorry that happened to you.

This isn't DE specific, but since I'm working up the DE ladder...

How does one make schematics for factories? I'm assuming you have to be near a crafting droid or crafting station and get the option to experiment/prototype/schematic. I wanted to make one for a crate of droid batteries, but when standing next to my crafting droid and creating a droid battery I am not presented with those options? Wha happen?
