OK, I know, total newbie at this whole CH thing.
So, if I am incapacitated, having already ordered my pet into the fray, with they continue to attack or fall dumb?

He will continue you attack.
Also, sometimes i find i can use my "/tellpet Attack" command, to make my pet attack other mobs after he killed his current one; while im incapped.

Is it completely normal to have 8 out of 10 investigation IV missions show a waypoint, and have no target even within 1k meters. I have sent out multiple droids, gotten the exact same wp, and no npc, nothing.
8 out of 10 missions that I've done the past few days have either had no npc, or an npc under a building or stuck in a wall or just standing there out in the open, yet you go to attack and "you cannot see that" even though /examine works just fine.
Sorry if this is a newbie question, but this is really really annoying spending 6 hours to get 1k investigation exp.

This is called a bug and it drives everyone crazy. There is no way around it, till the Devs decide to fix it and believe me there has been numbers of bug reports on it, so just add yours.

Yes , you can tame leeser dewbacks. I recommend the lesser bols though...tougher. (Looks alot like a dewback too...mountable) Do a keyword search on google for star wars galaxies. Grab the one that has "warcry" in the title. Some of it is outdated but its good enough for whatyou need. Remember..until u get the tamingaggressive or vicious creaturesskill...u can't tame aggressive babies..red dots.

You should be able to tame them now. Novice CH gives you the mod for it. Training I will give you a higher mod and more pet slots. Grab a cu pa baby after you get training one. Also, try and find a CH that can train it or them in "guard" ...very effective tool in XP grabbing. Hopefully you can find a CH that will be nice enough to do this for you. Too bad you are on a different server.

I know you guys get this a lot, but can someone at least point me to somewhere that tells me what I can tame and what's the best thing to tame as starting out CH? Or just buy it from a BE if I have cash... what stats should I expect for a starting out BE pet and for around what price range? I'm grateful for any help, thanks:-)

Your starting skill mods for "max number of pet lvls" or "max pet lvl" (dunno what they are calling it now) is around 10. You will be taming the smaller creatures babies that usually hang out around the towns. (nunas, gorgs, squalls, etc...) The babies you will find in the wild. (you can only tame babies and it takes a week for them to grow up..the lower lvl ones do) If you find a lesser dewback or lesser bol baby grab it. To get XP points...tame and train babies, and use your pets in battle. If you are a master scout you will be able to examine creatures and see if they spawn babies in the game and it also will give you their lvl of difficulty. Otherwise check websites for databases on the creatures that inhabit the planets. Just keep an eye on your skill mods.

Same place, www.swgcreatures.com, tells you where to find what.
The advantage of a BE pet is that you can get enough of a tank at lvl 12 to take on higher level missions and still get good XP. A group really works best for this. Voritors (Dant), Fambaas (Naboo), and Rancors(Dath)can build up XP quick.

/tenddamage is like a last ditch effort to heal people seeing that all medics can craft some sort of stims.
I don't know the reasioning behind it but you nolonger get any xp for /tenddamage.
/healdamage uses stims and gets you xp
/tendwound still gets you xp though for that you need to be in a medcenter or have a droid though
