Well here is my top 5, but i will add a few more that might help over all.


1. Fix the accuracy, speed, and effects of the weapons we have to help bring us back into the high offensive area of fighting.


2. Fix the Bh missions (especialy the waypoints where the mark should be). I find this is a problem on plantes like Endor, Lok, and Dath where there is alot of creature spawning. It seams that the mass of creature spawning is keeping the mark from poping and causing the seekers from updating properly. Also i notice that on the same said planets where there is very few starports/shuttles, the mark runs off into no were and gets lost to the point that we cant find them. For example i was hunting today, my 2nd and 3rd seeker got stuck on a spot, so i decided to just follow the path the mark was running. After 3000+m i found my mark, but it should of not happend in the first place. The server is not despawning the creatures to let the mark pop.


3.Well im not up to the lvl of fighting/hunting Jedi yet, but i feel that many BH's want this so i think this needs to be #3 on the list after the first 2 are fixed. After the weapons and the missions are fixed, the grand hunt of the Jedi could be next. Fix the problems we are haveing with hunting Jedi.


4. This fix is more of a request. We BH mostly find the scouting skills we mostly have useless and would like to see some changes. We ether would like:


a. To get back some of the skill points from some of the scouting skills that we hardly ever use to use tward other professions. Since it looks like the Jedi profession is changing to be in line with the other professions, we want to customize what we want in skills. Now if we cant get back some skills, could we...


b. Get some new items that we can use in our armory. Since we have scouting skills not being used(like traping), lets make use of it. Let us be able to make traps/snares/darts/sonic bombsthat we can use to slow down our mark. Also, why dont we use the seekers we have but at a different lvl. Why not have seeker droids that can go out and stun/snare/trap(as in place a timer on the mark so it dont move)a mark so we can catch up to it quicker(i got this idea from the upcoming droid revamp where the devs wanted to make exploding parts for droids to use for a last resort). More droids can be made and we still get our mark( the enhancements can ether be made by the DE or by smugglers). Also i would recomend that we get exp for a successful seeker droid find of about 5-10 points(5 points if useing a enhanced seeker, 10 for regular seekers, and this is only as a fix if they cant fix the problem of the missing mark at waypoint problem and this is for ppl to get at least some points if they get nothing on a missed bounty).


5. The 5th fix is also a wish for all professions, and would be realistic view. Some ppl will hate what im going to say but it is needed for proper balence and more stratagy on the battle field. ALL Armor Needs To Be Certified. Yes that is right, Armor Certification. If you look at any online game out there, you will find that almost all of them will NOT have all there classes wareing the best/strongest armor in the game. The reason is that not all classes/professions work well in armor. Each profession should step back and see what armor is best suted for them that will not hinder them and what they do. Remember, the weaker the profession the more unskilled they would be in useing armor(picture it, would you see a weak businessman wearing a full suit of battle armor to work in real life? Maybe, but he would not know how to properly move with it on). This little fix would do 2 things:


a. Make it clear on the measurment on proper defence in the game.


b.And help the lower lvlcrafter make some credits from selling goods from all levels of armor. But also would have crafter depend on higher lvl fighter for the material that comes from creatures and the tuffer areas the creatures hang out at. so this helps the economy anyway you looks at it.


And will help the BH to on where they stand in the mix of all the other professions.

My top 5 issues:


1) Stop discussing and get to work


2) Stop making us drooling over something that won't be implemented


3) Remove Jedi bounty since we can't do it anyway


4) Nerf our harvesting skill, we're way too good compare to ranger


5) Torsoshot shouldn't have burn dot, it's too powerful compare to flamethrower.


Thank you so much for a great combat profession. I can't wait being incap again by rifleman or being disease/poison from 70m by a cm. Good job devs. I can't wait for the next nerf. Btw we're still too overpower cause I'm still able to kill Jedi.

my top five


fix the bh missions there are way too many broken missions.


defencive atributs either addham to us as we move up thechain or give us defencive a bonus.jedi now have anywhere from 3-4 bodyguards and are normaly buffed if i try and lone wolf a jedi not only am i fighting a jedi but all thier body guards


fix the log out/buddy kill exploit a jedi uses his force powers and he is seen he gets a mission on him he logs out or has a fellow guild member kill him off . If i pick up any other mission and decided to go some where else and wile im else where some one else kills it it will respawn why not jedi


more powerful weapons if i got to fight a jedi and his body guards as mentiond above the llc just dosent cut it the carbine is way too underpowerd and the pistol is as well. hell a tka can take me out befor i can get a shot off at him in PvP somthing is wrong


just fix the our beloved profesion

Alright, I've read the other threads, as per the suggestion to do so. I still don't see that a lot has been done to make changes to the problems that were occurring previous to January. However, if we're to make a new list, I'd definitely include the old issues that still apply, but my #1 priority is bounty missions.


It is insanely HARD to get bounty hunter experience, even with the experience "boost" that was given. At investigation 2, I get approximately 333 experience per mission, and given that I needed 6k exp to get to investigation 3 (since I maxed out my exp before learning 1 and 2), that should mean I need to do about 18 missions. However, at about 30 to 45 minutes per mission, that equates to about 9 to 13 hours, roughly. ALL PRESUMING MY MARK ACTUALLY SPAWNS!!!!!


In the last 2 hours, I've managed to accept and track down 3 different missions (got lucky with the shuttles), all of which did not spawn! And no, I'm not a newb who doesn't know that you should check near the waypoint to see if they wandered! Anyone who has done about 10 of these missions knows exactly what I'm talking about too! This is frustrating, in the extreme! I'm already doing missions that I don't want to do, that require me to sit and wait on shuttles for an inordinate amount of time, but to get to the waypoint only to find that your mark isn't there is intolerable! Send out another probe, wait 2 minutes, wow, big surprise, no target, the waypoint doesn't move, you're SCREWED!


Just as frustrating is having your target spawn inside a wall or other object, where you can't "see" your target, so you can't shoot them. Or they spawn inside a body of water, giving you an automatic 'mission incomplete' message.


Anything that is going to require you to spend 30 minutes or more achieving should at least FUNCTION! This is my biggest grief with the game right now.Sure, the offense of the BH in comparison to other professions sucks, and the defenses are even worse, but THIS problem is creating a HUGE amount of wasted time! I for one am sick of it, and think this issue is the most important one to fix!


I could go on, but it would be nothing but more ranting, so I'll stop here.

1.Make the missions more difficult/rewarding as you move up to MBH.


2.Make a BH specific carbine.


3. Fix the exploits (the seeker droid)(the logon/logoff jedi) -- I have a couple of Jedi's in my friends list - and it's almost a constant XXXXX has gone offline - XXXXX has gone online during the course of play.


In hand with this - make it so if the Jedi is killed by one BH - that's it - all bounties on him are null (until they get marked again) . This in turn will force the BH's to race to kill the mark. (and stop clone camping).


4. The new armour and jetpack - make them only fully usable by MBH. Other professions - can wear/use them - but at a reduced effective rate (similar to equiping a non-certed weapon) - meanwhile, BH's that are not MBH will only get partial skill with them depending how far up the tree they are.


5. STOP THE DABBLERS! -- make JEDI mission's only MBH or 4 4 4 4 only. This has nothing to do with being "elite" or snobbish. Why should a TKA/Fencer NBH 3 be allowed to hunt Jedi - while a MBH has to spend all their points to achieve that level and not have all the strengths of the other classes?


6. Make defensive buffs/offense buffs variable on to the success rate of your missions. If you win most of your bounties - you should achieve more benifits from you earned skill.


7. Make having the master scout worth something to a MBH. Like player traps - etc... Eitther revamp it - or make it so we don't have to become a master scout to do BH.


Right now - I made over 1 mil just hunting wooley hide on endor - compared to the small amount of credits hunting bounties.


8. I'm a rebel BH. I want to hunt sith and imperial jedi. As it stands now - it's very difficult to know which side the mark is on. I would like to see this info displayed on the terminal - "suspected imperial using the force" - etc.... This way - i am not hindering the GCW by wacking a rebel Jedi. This one issue takes alot of immersion of the GCW for me. The only other choice is to just go neutral - but i believe in picking a side.


9. LLC -- needs some loving.

This would do 2 things:

1. Make BH stronger

"Why not make Rebels who kill Imperial Crackdown Stormtroopers appear on the Bounty Hunter Terminals? The Empire, instead of doing nothing about the 15 Stormtroopers killed in Kaadara, posts a bounty on the head of the murderer. Or, instead of doing this, make the murdering Rebel kill on sight to all other Imperial Crackdown Stormtoopers until he/she is killed by them.

I believe my idea is a good one. Anybody else?"

This is a great idea. I'll share it with the team. Everyone reads the weekly dev cycle threads, but I'll send this around for a second look.

Have 2 master BH on 2 servers most of my suggestions have already been stated but i will elaborate on a couple.



LLC:


Do not remove LLC instead change it from a heavy weapon to a rifle and allow the accuracy etc to stack on marksman mods. Remove the area shots as they dont help in any situation and replace them with some additonal rifle specials possibly even a new rifle type.


JEDI/PC MISSIONS:


Add more types of PC missions. Jedi missions currently work like this on all servers:


1) get jedi mission target offline add name to friends and watch him go online ofline repeatedly as his BH "friends" tip him off that hes on terms.


2) get mission track mark to a rooftop or battlefield


3) get mission only to discover that the person is a 4444 guardian and you have not even a prayer.


4) get mission jedi runs to water and goes LD (normally after making a few choice comments)


5) get mission and find a large group of jedi defenders (i am neutral but that leads to next point)


ReDo the TEF system for jedi. A true BH should beloyal to the contract and no faction, mine are both neutral but i often find when i turn up and find the guardian 4444 that there is no TEF even after i tracked them. All the current usage does is allow large groups to defend the jedi normally via a CM. Even as neutral the TEF system is a mess i have had both rebel and imperial groups gain a TEF to me after attacking a jedi.


TRAPS/SCOUT


The only thing useful about scout now is the fact it pays the bills from harvesting. Player traps are a must or remove the requirement. Like others i havent used a camp in over a month and my vehicle nulifies the terrain negotiation. Even CM have terrain negotitation built into their tree to avoid SP cost.


MBH


Besides the slight droid stat increase what is the point?? I can earn 3-4 times more money doing normal destroy missions than i can from 1 mark. More on top of that if its for a good harvest resource. Investigation 4 should have an increased payout and then again at master. The specials are horrible since the defences were granted.


OFFENSE Vs DEFENSE


As has been stated numerous times we are offensivly heavy and defensivly light. Unfortunatly due to various balance passes to other professions our offense has gone. If bh is a dabblers proffesion then remove it from the game the skill point usage to be a master of a heavily gimped profession is way to high. Either return to us some of our offense or please give us some defense. Skill point usage has been compared to that of jedi but at least a jedi can fight at knight and beyond. We at MBH have little chance against any PvP player with 1/2 a clue.

1. More player bounties
This is what we've wanted from day one. We've got Jedi. What about smugglers? Rebels who kill stormtroopers? There have been a number of excellent posts made on how a player bounty system could easily be implemented using existing game mechanics and keeping it all consensual. A lot of players admit they'd even botch missions on purpose to get bounties placed on their heads. So let's just cut to the chase and get some real content going.


2. Fix our PvP capabilities
Bounty Hunters (good ones) are some of the most feares creatures in the Star Wars canon. A lot of people feel that we can't compete with other combat classes because we have no defenses. And rightly so. We shouldn't get our clocks cleaned all of the time in PvP. We either need more defenses in our tree or we need the scout prerequisite lowered so we can invest more points in getting defenses from other trees.


3. More profession-specific content
Bounty Hunters in the films have some of the coolest equipment. Bounty Hunters have introduced Mandalorian Armor, jetpacks, the EE3 carbine, WESTAR blaster pistols, wrist-mounted rockets and flame projectors, Mabari Armor, Kamino saber darts, ensnaring cables, and an arsenal of exciting gadgets. Currently none of the above content is specific to our profession, if it exists at all. And I'm not just saying Bounty Hunters need stuff like this. Every profession could benefit from more profession-specific content. Personally I'd love to see WESTAR blaster pistols, a BH specific carbine, and "man traps" to make our Scout prerequisite worthwhile (like saber darts and ensnaring nets).


4. Improved Investigation missions
The Galaxy, it seems, is full of nasty infamous criminals on the run who can't seem to make any friends and spend their days hiding out alone 9,000 m from civilization. If I were on the run and a bounty'd been placed on my head you can bet I'd hire about six bodyguards and buy a really mean droid. Why not mix it up. Have a few missions take place inside spawned structures (like the Valarian Base mission you get from Jabba)? Maybe some of these thugs have buddies, pets, droids, or bodyguards. How great would it be to get a mission for a famous slicer where you have to bust into his house and take down his protection before you get to deal with your actual bounty? The game mechanics are all there (spawning of multiple entities, spawning of buildings) so they just need to be implemented.


5. Why do we have a Scout requirement?
Much like Smugglers have their Brawler prerequisite, we have Scout. At least Scout makes some degree of sense, as the Bounty Hunter often finds himself alone in the wild. But the entire Scout profession? It doesn't seem worth it at Master BH to have the Scout prerequisite. The only things that really get use are the terrain negotiation and maybe foraging. Why not limit it to one or two branches, thereby supporting BH diversity and freeing up points to buy defenses from other trees? Alternately, make the Scout branch worthwhile by adding traps for humanoids.
