Thread: MILK?

The problem is, about a quarter of the chef recipes are gated for milk. We also have tissues that use milk to enhance chef recipes. I can't belive it was ever intended to be this rare.

Kinda funnny how we are so smart that we can take some DNA from gnorts, throw it together with some grain and meat to grow a whole new creature.

But we just have not figured out how to get milk from an Ikopi or female Brackasets. Hmm, maybe that Twilek dancing in the Cantina can help me, do you think she knows where to find milk?

A guildmate bought 4k (yes 4000) of same name milk from somebody. I can't really see them looting 1-4 milk every 10-15 minutes and getting that kind of quantity. There has to be a better source out there.

Weve been having a lot more show up...but weve also experienced a lot more resource duping lately as well.

Myself and a friend have worked our asses off and came up with a stack of 101 milk. This was not camping, but riding 4-5k several times a day for several weeks. The more people know about the places milk spawns, the more camped it will get. It is a serious pain to ride 5k to find someone camping, then several hours later, ride back and find they are still camped out.

I agree that milk is too rare and that having to loot it from piles of garbage is crap. The benifits of the taming tissues are mild at best. They don't allow people to tame higher level creature, they just increase the chances of a successful taming (from all that I've gathered) and, although I don't want the market flooded with taming tissues, it would be nice if it didn't take two people a month to collect enough for one or two articles of enhanced clothing.

Nikii, can you explain "resource duping". (sorry, don't know the term and searching for it was painful)

basically its a not allowed process of duplicating resources. For exampletaking a stack of 1000 and turning them into 2000. I know there has been a problem with both credits and resources. I believe I saw a patch or two ago that they had stopped one method of credit duping but they didnt mention anything about resource duping so I "assume" (oh boy) that this still going on.

I think they should give us a schematic for a component called Soymilk, or rice milk, or something like that. We could make with beans or riceand water, or beans or rice, oil and water and it could be used in all schematics that require milk. Then we could trade or sell it to Bio-engineers as well as use it ourselved. it's not like There really aren't such products out there in real life.

This would make it easier to get identical units, as we could crate it, and would make it more readily available in the game without having to go out and kill nightsisters.

Well said. It would be very nice to have a readily available source of milk and mollusk instead of camping a pile of debris.

I got 33 units of Milk at the Panther Village on Talus in about 45 minutes. It was 3 refreshes of the garbage heaps. I got lucky.

Very lucky, I have gotten a couple armor segments and a skill tape out of there, but most the time I travel out there it is already camped by the same players who were there yesterday, a week ago, a month ago! I am so sick of standing around for :20 minutes to go search the debris pile again. What a load of bull this is.

Pretty bad exaggeration there. I count 9 pants that you could put a single synth cloth in and get the bonus, and 6 shirts. Also a ton of jackets, hats, oh heck, lots and lots of stuff. True, many of the real high end items you are shut out from with only a single cloth, but still lots of possibilities.

Currently there is one trouser and one blouse that reguires only one tissue. So if you want a set of Taming Clothes we talk about quantities of about 250-500 milk. good luck LOL

Perhaps they should add a new profession to the game, Goat/Cow milker. With that profession you get to run around milking galulama(?) and the newely introduced cow.

Merchants can also hire milkmen to delivery runs to peoples houses for a weekly payment...
