Actually it started off with him posting about a pet he made, followed by myself and others sayting that it's way overpowered. Someone mentioned that they know how it was made and thats when myself and others said 'ok that is definently an exploit then' at which point he says it's not and admits that is how he did it and will continue doing it. So we called him an exploiter, he then comes back with his new pet and says it was done without the bugged kahmurith dna and claimed that it was a fair clone to have. That basically kicked all of this off, what was fair and what was not. Frankly we see where he and others sit now, they firmly beleive that this change in the CL was for our benefit to make our pets uber.. I find that more than just a bit egotistical to think that they'd do that. They also think that these pets are what people deserve, mo power, mo power ect.. ect.. fine they can beleive that all they want... the developers don't agree with you. Everyone is looking for some pre-emptive developer response and I personally don't think it's going to happen. It never happened with the baby dna super clones, we just logged on one day and found things had changed that is what will most probbaly happen here too.

I've said all I can say this past week, someone people agreed, some disagreed. I don't intend to frustrate myself further by repeating the same facts over and over again. I persisted for this long as I tried to put across the point from every way because I thought maybe people were going to be reasonable and think this through.. i was wrong. So I'm going to sit here, watching Sumo blow a gasket and see how long it takes him to realise that those people who don't agree here are beyond salvation.

There will be changes made and this is why people like Sumo and Tal-N are saying these pets shouldn't be made. If there's an problem with the code, what's going to make the Dev's make a swift and heavy handed decision. People not making these unbalanced creatues, or the people that are selling these pets, thereby creating an unbalanced game. Here's a hint, it's not the first one.

I have no problem with people creating these pets just so they can say they've done it and display it in there house, but allowing them to enter the game properly is just asking for trouble and asking for the dev's to come up with a quick and harsh nerf to stop anymore of these pets entering the game. They showed with faction pets they can screw things up on a major scale, when the problem (3 AT-ST being out at once) is relativly simple to fix (just let people pull out one AT-ST).

As for what makes a resonable Non CH pet. Somewhere around 2.5k HAM ( and small variations, so H 3k A 2.5k M2k would be fine), 100 - 150 damage and ranged if you can. Specials shouls be at the expense of damage and/or HAM. Basically a non CH should have a nice mount and not much else. This is backed up with the changes the Dev's have just made.

I think the higher the CL level the more freedom we should have. So we don't do much for non CH pets, but we can make some truly kick ass pets for creature handlers.

You know, if you can continually turn a blind eye, and only see what you want to see and not acknowledge the facts, then in my opinion you shouldnt be a correspondent. I only responded to attacks with attacks. If you are going to make insulting desultory comments to me, Ill do it back to you. Take you for example, you were the instigator, not I. If you "actually" went back to look at previous posts you would see that I only responded in kind to posts as they were directed at me.

Wow, more revisionist history. Who would have guessed. Actually it started off with several pets I amde and asking what sort of price they would fetch. A cl10 Light Armor Kaadu, cl8 and 9 Virvur, and a cl47 kimo, after 1 page of decent posts, I suddenly have you saying I was using bugged kamurith dna and dataoutlaw saying I was using exploits. I corrected you and said I wasnt using any bugs or exploits, and as far as I could tell the system was working like intended, (even if the results werent) You inisisted that "kamurith dna" was bugged, so I said to myself I would go out and prove you wrong. I came backa day or two later and posted another pet a cl14 gurrcat that was made entirely without using any kamurith dna, and it was and it was an "in your face post" who said I was exploiting by using bugged kamurith dna. So you come back and say well "there are other bugged dna's also" and then start with the direct insults by saying I am throwing a "temper tantrum" , So I respond in kind and then say your theories about bugged dna are wrong and to provide me with a list of creatures that are not bugged since you are so infinitely wise, and I'll duplicate the results. Of course you never can come up with a list, instead you change horses in midstream and say that you've made a discovery and kamurith dna is not bugged, the bug and exploit being used is that non master are using bad quality dna to exploit the system. Of course this is wrong also since I am a master and I use the best quality dna I have on hand, but you insist I am using an exploitable bug. Then I get arthurdentonbria starting in with the insults and rude comments which I respond back to, and then you do another 360 and say you made a new discovery its not being a non master, its specific placement of certain dna. So we come to this thread and once again the instigators are you, sumorex and then talthazar joins in.
Even now you want to try to change history by making up false arguments and lies. Go back and read my Cliff Notes version. You imply that I think everyone deserves these pets, and I actually specifically said otherwise. You imply that I think everyone deserves "Mo power" and again that is just a flat out lie. I said I myself had a very biased view and would love to see my under balanced pure entertainer have enough power to survive a jaunt outside of town. But please dont let the truth get in the way of whatever other lies you want to make. I can find the exact posts on page 9 and 13 and this page to show the history of who instigated the attacks each time.
