Thread: secret research data
The research data is an optional component, you don't have to have it to make the food tissue.

then how do you use those tissues that increase duration or increase strength.

Those tissues come from a Bio-Engineeer and you put them in the Food Additive slot (in the food) after you have converted it from a BE's "Broad Spectrum Nutrients" into a chef's "Medium Food Additive". (For example, that is. There are many types of tissues to make into additives that have difefrent effects.)
As stated above, Secret Research Data has never entered the game, but is optional (as is a Food Additive for food itself forthat matter) to complete the Additive. I hope that makes sense...

The secret research data was never put into the game. If you look at the sticky at the top of the forum called FAQ, you will see that question is listed twice and there is a clicky to the answer. I don't know how it would be possible to convey that information to new players in any easier way. I can't break into their homes and lead them to the stickies and click on the FAQ for them, and show them the information contained therein.
There is no complete up-to-date guide b/c our correspondant was writing one when he became correspondant and then, they kept changing the game. Everything slowly was changed or silently-nerfed. Basically BE is a big bug list that we don't know if it is meant to be that way or not.
We haven't even HEARD from our correspondant for about a week. I don't know if Lammergeier has lost hope, is on holiday, hasn't got anything to report or what. I don't know if he is still working on a proper FAQ. The FAQ that we put together is a stop-gap measure, but it does contain some useful information.
Only problem is, you actually have to read it, to find the answers contained within. Possibly several times since it is easy to miss things the first time around.

But hey some of us have not been playing this game since beginging and really appreciate your smart remarks becasue it does confirm what you have found.![]()

Before you get flamed for this ... let's remember - we thought that level 75 was the top sampling level and it turns out to be higher than that after all.
If you've got any more clues or the BE that told you this would like to post more about it - I'd love to hear it.
All we have got on this so far is that all the BE's who post on the forum have been looking for it since it was put into the game well over a year and a half ago (more probably) and they came to the conclusion that, since nobody found it, it doesn't exist. But it is a LOT harder to prove that something doesn't exist than to prove it does ... so ... any more info on this ??? Who told you this for example would be a cool thing to share?
Open minds everyone ... open minds ...
