Alright I am a master architect and was looking at making some crafting stations, but the thing is I only get 6 points to experiment but everything else I get the normal 10 why is this?

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I love the way high-quality crafting stations are made. Professions must work together. You need a master artisan, master architect, and master droid engineer. While I wouldn't want all items to be like that, it's a refreshing change from the usual solo grind that crafting is.

Actually you don't need master architect, though I don't know any novice architects that make crafting stations.
