One of our top issues if not THE TOP ISSUE. Is that we need informants removed at MASTER BOUNTY HUNTER. If you are a Master BH you should not need informants. This is the edge the MBH needs. This is a critical Issue because its getting really boring only having one place to hunt out of. Sure there is a bela vista informant...But it took me almost 25 min just to use that informant and then fly into the planet of my mark. By that time the jedi had been killed. Probably by a 3rd level BH who was running missions from Kaadara. Please make this THE TOP issue.

I also feel that fixing bugs shouldn't be a top five issue but a bug fix issue which they should fix no matter what.


Lets not put bug fixes in our top five then and instead ask for things that would make BH fun to play.


You know that there are always going to be new bugs with every publish anyways.

It'd be nice to see what actions or thoughts, if any, from the Devs on our last 'Top 5 Issues'. Do you know if the developers are considering any type of revamp for bounty hunters?

1) Change certain things ingame that will effect all players but mainly stop jedi hiding from us BH's

-make logging out in water impossible

-make it so you can't remain stationary in water for more then say 2/3 mins, (no one needs to float for that long)


2) the bugs with Droids, -seekers not been used from inventory when using "find and track" option

-Probe droids having the "find and track" option in inventory (unless i'm mistaken they can't do this)

-the extra "transmit biological signiture" on probe droids.


3) Make it so jedi missions are only completed when they have been killed by a bounty with the mission on the bounty (this will stop jedi's friends taking out missions then incapping the jedi, which as i understand clearsthe jedifrom terminal).


4) If the DEV's claim that BH is a highly offensive profession and low defense, then restore the effectivness of our specials in our pistol and carbine lines. Since the combat balance has been put off "till a later date" my hopes it would be sorted then our lost, but i think this need attention soon. In terms of combat power for the amount of skill points we have to invest, we get the least.


5) Another jedi one, fix the bug where jedi log back in, our droids tell us they our still offline. I have jedi on my friends list (so i know whether to take mission etc) and i see some systematically logging in and out every 15 mins so no one can use there droids on them, this is in my opinion an exploit.


((oh and can the DEV's please sort out the spynet operative's in mos eisley in the back of the lucky despot, there's like 3 of them standing on the same spot and they all have merged into each other, really annoying))

ok i'm not a mbh yet but i am far along in BH soon.



1st the BH carbine specials do not work very often. I find I have to spam Fire KD to get it to stick to a PvE target, I'm afraid to even try it in PvP =P and if i spam it i'll end up killing myself first before i Dizzy/Kd anything....


2nd The Scatter Pistol is weak in its nerfed form. Either A) The skills need more power or B) We need defenses against states...Further if our pvp target is in any kind of armor and we use a scatter we do hardly any damage... whether its eye shot or torso shot...


3rd LLC accuracy is horrible... at +70 you can't really hit the broad side of a rancor =)


4th The lack of BH Carbine really bothers me... we have 2 special weapons for 2 of our trees but not a Carbine for our carbine tree doesn't make much sense.


5th Our lack of an offense is saddening, but this has been mentioned time and time again. BH is suppose to be the end all and be all of offense classes. Remember we spend 3 masters to get MBH but it seem worthless besides getting a possible holocron profession out of the way and Ranged Mitigation 3... I think we need to fix the MBH specials and add +30 accand speed for each weapon type.... all we get is +10 pistol and carbine accuracy which doesn't make master bh worth anything....



but remember i'm only a 0/3/4/1 BH so I could be wrong on some of these issues,. but this is what I have seen thus far.

Shouldn't Jedi Missions be for Master Bounty Hunters only...as a reward for those who spent all the skill points, and do all the work???


Seems like a lot of MBHs on my server are griping because they have to camp the terminals to get a mission - because of all the half assed invest 3 people taking the best reason to even be a master bounty hunter - being able to hunt jedi.

I have only been a BH for a short period of Time, but it would seem to me that if we are a low def High Off class, we need much better offensive capabilities. Scatter Pistol is way too weak, and are specials are not worthy of a class that sacrificed so many Skill points. Hell a rifleman with a good Ion Jawa owns us in PvP because DPS is outta whack and Rifle can master several other professions or dabble all over. If we are THE offensive Class, we need specials and weapons that are in line with that thinking.

1- Make the LLC usefull.


raising accuracy, maybe adding up the rifle accuracy and maybe speed mods form marksman tree (not the rifle specials, just the mods), this way we would have a reason to waste 14 sp on rifle plus 6 on master marksman. Alsomaking the specials distance and ideal range on them the same is just logic.


also i agree with whoever said it should b our long ranged weapon (in oppose to short range -pistols- and medium range -carbines- )


2- work on the special attacks


why does crippling shot, a skill that is not even on master carbineer box, does more dmg than sprayshot?

why does fastblast do less or just about the same dmg(for what ive seen) than torso shot or eyeshot?

why is fire knockdown called fire if it doesnt set anyone on fire?

why does underhand shot cost more ham than fkd if the latter is much better? how about reducing the ham on it and maybe change the effect, say instead of kd some weak type of intimidate or maybe a 10 sec delay like smuggler(yes i know panic shot has been nerfed but at least it would b one more form of attack from which to choose)?


in essence, give us something to balance out the total lack of defense. make it so we dont even realize we dont have any defenses


3- Fix the missions


when i was working on master, and i need 3 more missions to get it, i got a total of 7 bugged missions b4 i could complete those 3. can them devs plz take a look at this? i couldnt careless about the traveling and shuttle wait if the marks were there. but as it is, its just frustrating.


give master bhs a reason to do missions, increasing difficulty and payout. as it is now, its much more profitable to solo cavemen missions in dant.


fix the inumerous problems with jedi missions. pretty sure everyone knows what kind of problems im talking about here


4- explain why we need master scout when we dont use traps to hunt our marks. And now that we dont need camps to call bikes/pets we dont need survival either. although i can understand the survival from a RP point of view. but traps has nothing to offer since our traps are creature oriented only.


5- hmm cant think of a 5th now, ill come back when i come up with something.

1. The Jedi Log Off/Log On Exploit needs to be fixed. Almost every Jedi on my server is using this exploit.

2. If Bounty Hunters have to Master Scout, then make scout meaningful. The only scout skill I use is Harvest and that seldom occurs.

3. Fix The LLC Specials. LLC is a long range weapon, why are our specials 17meters max distance?

4. Allow MBH's the ability to track Jedi Without the Bio Signature (our bonus )

5. Remove Rifle and Add Flame Thrower! whooohoooo!

no no no.


bugs should NOT be in our list, people.


Devs: you knowfull well what the bugs are, fix them, period.


fellow BHs:


1) Combat: a Master BH should be able to take out any Single-Profession Master (ie Pistoleer, TK, etc). make it so this is possible, or even higher level professions, since we are completely boned on Skill Points, and you know it. "low defense"?...fine, make the offense a whole hell of a lot better.


Accuracy, Specials, Certifications, Skill Mods..all need to be fixed here...as ONE issue.


2) screw Jedi. even if i could get my droids to locate one, and he didnt exploit, i still couldnt hurt him. i dont know what to do here, but im tired of trying. im basically just a way for ACTUAL combat players to find Jedi....its total BS


3) Having to master Marksman and Scout are fine with me, though scout should contirbute more than just crappy PvE things we cant really use...especially now that camps are friggin worthless. i definitely DO NOT like the idea of "NPC/PvP traps"....just give me a good gun that does stun damage...it takes care of that issue.


4) i really liked the idea of Faction-aligned BH missions with players as marks, but it needs to be done carefully. i would think that a player with -5000 Jabba faction is gonna have some heat on him, and it should be from mercenary-type players, as BH missions. same thing for Imperial (and less so) Rebel factions (the BH i play is Rebel, btw) remember that PvP in SWG is based on consentuality, not player-deemed roles.


5) i should have to mention it, but i feel i must (which speaks volumes about SoE's regard for its customers).....fix the bugs....just fix them...i wasted 6 hours in a row on bugged BH missions before i hit master....its bad enough they take like 30 minutes each...


oh, and Mandalorian Armor as a special-schematic (limited use loot schematic) only usable by BHs (whatever level, i think Master is the best idea) is a good idea, but then every darn BH would look exactly the same....which would suck.


so im willing to leave Mandalorian armor out of the game as long being a BH is worth the 200+ Skill Points and ungodly amount of time you have to spend on it. if i cant take a Teras Kasi Master, or at leasta Pistoleerout by myself after BH is "fixed" im going to be really really pissed off.
