anytime you grind a crafting proffesion, when you get a new box look at the new stuff you got to craft, whatever uses the most resources gives you the most xp, i belive its rescources used * 2 is the total

if your somewhat low on resources make sure you have a generic crafting tool and a weapon, droid, and generic crafting tool.

open your generic crafting tool any make a weapon or armor repair tool (they take 15minerials)

then as thats waiting to be finished open you weapon, droid, and generic crafting tool and do the same thing.

it will cost you 30minerials and youll get about 60-80xp and they take about 13sec to finish each

Well, I'm bored servers are down and I have nothing to do. So I’m going to ask for advice.

This is what I was planning on doing I know I'm a newb to the game so something is more than likely wrong with this template.

Brawler - Master
Fencer - Master
Swordsman - Master
Medic - 4411

Here is why I was doing this,

Brawler - Int 2, lunge, speed etc..

Fencer - I hear they are good in PVP. I'm almost already master in this and really having a lot of fun with it.

Swordsman - I still want to be good in PVE along with PVP and I felt Swordsman could do this better than fencer.

Medic - What else should I put the points into?

Please offer all input, I'm not going to flame if you tell me why it won't be any good. Thanks

I am currently a TKM working on Master Swordsman.I was going to do TKM/MS/MBrawler,but I have decided to do something a little different . I am now debating between Master Swordsman/Master Doctor and Master Swordsman/CM 4404( I was told MS/MCM isnt possible). I was hoping to get a little feedback from those of you who have played these combos.Just for the record I am a majority PvE player concentraing on high end mobs, but I would like to be able to PvP when the urge hits.Thats the main reason for completely dropping TKM. 80% comp is just wrong! Except when I wear it of course. Thanks for any input you have on this subject.

I'll be Novice Ranger in a few days (Scout 4/4/4/1). I was wondering what the best creature to use traps on is. Currently the best XP I got was useing traps on banthas (about 250), but I doubt thats going to cut it for Ranger. So I want to know what my soon to be fellow Rangers use'd to get through the Trapping tree.

Thanks.

I got a few crates of glow juice traps made and stacked them on pikets. You could finish a box per piket if you pull enough out of the crate.

Trapping is the easiest skill to master.

Figure out what stacks - hint, glowjuice and mesh

Make a bunch - you get scouting and wpns xp for gathering the basic materials. Oh yeah, use traps when killing these - xp is xp.

Sit in a camp and craft a boatload - wow, more xp

Find anything that walks. Trap it. Torturs on Talus don't DB. You do not need armor, or buffs, to kill them. Draw one and trap him senseless. If you can put a bleed on him, fine. Bleed, trap and run, trap, trap, run.

Basically, the smart money says, find something that doesn't DB and trap the snot out of it. After your 2d incap - if that happens. Move off, go camp for a bit and craft more traps.

You can honestly - by honestly I mean no macro - max traps in 3 hours.

Live to be a Ranger

Live to be a Ranger

When you are out in the wild pay close attention to how creatures interact with each other. Some naturally nonaggressive creatures are aggressive to other nonaggressive creatures. Locate a spawn where some large creatures are close to ones that are aggressive towards them. Pull a large creature with your traps towards these natural enemies; because your traps do minor damage the large creature should quickly forget about you as the creatures naturally fight each other. Now is the time to close with your target and start throwing every type of trap you can until you have to run for your life or your target dies.

There are various ways of pulling you will have to experiment which is best for you. Don't forget your peace skill.

As an example on Talus - Robos are aggressive to Tutors (I believe this is true for most large creatures), Humbraas are aggressive towards Huff Duns, and there are others. There is no way to describe the feeling of standing in front of a massive creature and throwing that first trap and at end when the creature falls to the ground with the sound of thunder.

I learned trapping by pulling Tutors to a pack of Robos. Occasionally I would die from not running fast enough but in most cases I was successful and able to learn a large amount of experience.

Try this on your own planet creatures and lets us know what happens.

Thanks for the advice, and wow. Trapping is EASY. I thought Tracking and the other skill (the name of it has escaped me right now) that uses scout xp would be easy, but there pretty hard.,

Currently I'm 0/0/3/3 (I have enough points to go 0/0/3/4).

Here's what I did, got buffed and went to Dantooine and just go regular piket missions, threw alot of traps at them, Im Master Fencer so I can take a hell of a beating.I had it within a few hours (could of had it within less but I had to go and get training, so I just went ahead and worked on Tracking).

Thanks again.
