Also im still having trouble understanding the 300 second reset timer, anyone care to explain.

I play on Flurry only. I just dont have the time to work on more than one character. Right now I am cursing the devs that thought up the combat xp system, and slowly winding my way up the pistoleer ladder.

Destroyer think about this for example: So your the grand poobah master chef and you have been working on this quest for days. You get tothe lastpoint in the quest where a pretty shady NPC tells you that Jim Bob over in Talus has the rare mint leaves your looking for that will allow you to make the cake,but probally wont part with them without some astoundingly hard quest. Then the NPC says, personally I would just kill him and take it.

So you get to Talus and find the guy, and he is a weak green con. You converse with him and just like the previous NPC said, he tells you that you get the mint leaves after some long hard quest. Before you is a moral choice. Kill him and finish the quest the easy way or not. This is of course just a possibility.

But wait, I thought that they stated that there were numerous ways to do it and that two different people may not have the same way of opening it.

If your theory is right, that would mean SOE lied and that there is one basic way to accomplish it, right?

Think about what he said, yes true that all people go about the same system to qualify for FS, the way they choose to do it is there decision. Also the master final quest theory makes it pretty unique for each player.

P.S. someone please explain that timer thing again.

It is a basic system, but it's also different for everybody.

Think about it. If you start off as an entertainer, you can get FS slot BY being an entertainer and doing numerous other thing, but someone else will be a marksman. Somight might be more of an exploring-type person and explore a lot, so she will get FS by that. Some like to get involved with quests, therefore they get FS by taking that road.

It IS different for everyone, but of course there is a static system.

I think that the first one you mentioned is the best possible Pistol template -- Expert BH + Pistoleer 0/0/0/1+ SmugglerDirty Fighting. It's kind of sad that the best pistol template includes only ONE box of Pistoleer.

im trying to figure out my template for my combat character. Id like to go Master Smuggler, Master Pistoleer, TKA0/3/0/4 andwith 34 points left, what medic skills should i get? i could go 3030, maybe 2040, or even take up TKA meditate line instead of medic. what do you thinki could heal myselfbest with, suitable for a combatant like myself?
