This was originally posted on the Test Center thread but has been deleted. I hope that means these numbers are going to change, but even the Merchant Corespondent doesn't seem hopeful of these numbers increasing drastically.
Anyway..here's the news:
Bazaar/Vendor
# Vendors that are empty will no longer be visible on the planetary map (Ctrl-V).
# Vendors that have been left empty or abandoned for two weeks will be deleted (owner will receive a warning message prior to deletion).
# Email notifications have been added to advise vendor owners of the status of their vendor.
# Fixed a bug that caused items to sometimes vanish from vendors.
# Vendor item limits will now be based on player skill. (Players over either limit will not be able to add new items for sale on vendors).
Artisan Business 3 Get (1) Vendor, that will hold (50) items, for a total of (50) items for all vendors
Merchant Novice Get (2) Vendors, that will hold (60) items, for a total of (120) items for all vendors
Merchant Management 1 Get (3) Vendors, that will hold (70) items, for a total of (210) items for all vendors
Merchant Management 2 Get (4) Vendors, that will hold (80) items, for a total of (320) items for all vendors
Merchant Management 3 Get (5) Vendors, that will hold (90) items, for a total of (450) items for all vendors
Merchant Management 4 Get (6) Vendors, that will hold (100) items, for a total of (600) items for all vendors
Merchant Master Get (6) Vendors, that will hold (110) items, for a total of (660) items for all vendors

I only sell pets and pet stims from my BE business on a vendor. So that space is enough there. But 40 crates per run of chef tissues is going to be harsh. The end product of food will be harsh. Tailors are just screwed by this. We really need to rally to get those numbers up, which I am sure they are counting on and hence set the numbers lower than what they can ultimately put the numbers at.

I know for me my Pets and Tissues vendor may have to become 2 seperate vendors because with pets, stims, vitality packs, and tailor tissues I'm easliy over 120 items on that vendor alone.
Then I have a seperate pet meds vendor on another planet that I usually over stocked just so I wouldn't have to go out there all the time.
I'm hoping we can still put items in backpacks and have it only count as 1. Otherwise when I do 4 runs at once for my chefs I'm not going to be able to list them all on my special order vendor

Maybe this is a good time to bring up the old make crates of subcomponents hold more items arguement then. If the tissues came in crates of 250 instead of 25 it would make the lone BE with just Biz 3 possible with the 50 item limit.

I'll just stop selling Chef Additives. I can manage the Tailor Tissues under 110 items, but not the Chef stuff.
Time all the Chefs started grinding their own BEs in my opinion if the crated item limit stays at 25

From what the devs have said in the past, I dont think an increase in crate sizes is likely, same with stack sizes for resources, they dont want to make it easier for a crafter to store large amounts of items and resources.

If you for some reason exceed the new limits, will you be warned an able to retract your wares from the vendor or will they just screw you over?

If you are over the limit when the changes come in you wont be able to list any new items on your vendor until you're under the limit, once the item expire you wont be able to relist them until you're below your limit.

Very simple really: if they do this, I quit. I have had it with the crap. Won't be able to keep my storage vendor, andthey are going to delete accounts that have been inactive for over 6 months, so my storage houses have to be emptied out (lot trade, and I don't know when the one who placed them stopped playing, but stop he did, so the houses will be deleted at some point, with all that is in them). Even as a starting Bio-Engineer, I have too much stored in the way of quality resources to do without my storage vendor. I took this account to provide my guild with tissues and supplements, not to get overworked just worrying where I am going to put my stuff next.

This is horrible. When I got get dna I fill up. So 60 on me and 50 in backpack and three droids that I have that give me another 30 spots. Just that will almost fill a house. So now I have to have 50 houses, oh wait I only have 0 lots left. Good idea!

I wonder if they realise this is going to hurt the new player more than anyone else I will have to stop beaking up full crates to put on my vendor. So have the cash to geta full crate or nothing if this is really how low they set the limits.
Have to wonder sometimes are they trying to drive people away from the ground game?

This is going to drive many BEs either to mail order only or for many larger scale BEs a severe restriction on the amount of additives they make - this will cripple our business, the business of chefs / tailors / CHs and as well as the people who use / consume the clothes / food that they make. I wasn't planning on keeping BE for much more than 4-5 weeks anyway, so I think this has just given me thepushtowardsthe door.

It will probably force me out as well. I'm already unhappy to have to spend 35 skill points just for the privalege of being able to sell my products in a vendor, but currently I have over 1000 items spread across my 2 vendors. 120, lol, that's just a sick joke. It would force me either to give up my professions and do something else, or buy another account, and I'm not going to do the latter. So may as well just pack it in.
