Thread: CL 10 : BE Pet vs Combat Droid
- 1700HAM *
- 130-140 Damage *
- 1.5 Speed *
- 0.37 To Hit *
- 20% resist AR0 *
ADV Probot with the same rating and Experimentation has
- 1100HAM *
- 149 - 159 Damage *
- 0.75Speed *
- 0.38 to Hit *
- 20% resist AR0
Adv LE
- 2200 HAM
- 68 - 83 Damage
- 1.5 Speed
- 0.36 To Hit
Adv DZ-70
- 1089 HAM
- 102 - 114 Damage
- 1.5 Speed
- 0.38 To Hit
I'm not a BE and would welcome anyone topost some data on CL 10
So I asked the first BE I found
Cl 10 Bantha
- 4232 Health
- 3316 Action
- 1916 Mind
- Kin14%
- Blast14%
- Vuln to rest
- 55-65 damage
- Speed 1.98
- Special 1-Dizzy
He told me lowering the vunerabiliy would get more HAM (logic)
The damage on this PETwas medium-low you can get 90 damage on thoses mobs with CL10
CL10 Kwi *
- 2800 health
- 2800 action
- 4600 mind
- 14% Kinetic
- 70Damage
- Special: Strong poison
The "good" thing on pets is you can get them doc buffed +2-3K ham and give them food too
Regarding thoses stats I would think DE needs some buffs for droids like power shields to be able to compete...

Just a point, the Probot cannot have a combat 600 rating, because it only has 5 combat module slots, as far as I can make out in the ever shifting world of TC
Shields are all well and good as a suggestion, but to be equal they would need a duration the same as that of the stacked buffs for a pet, and not be as they are now, essentially an extra layer of armour that degrades very rapidly.
I still think the AR2 decision should be reversed, and I cannot see why not.

Yes true,ty for theupdate

That what I was thinking about :buff shields or armor layers with duration or decays / degradation system
I still think the AR2 decision should be reversed, and I cannot see why not.
It would be the easyest and fastest way to make everybody happy and things well balanced
I want that Bantha! One thing that wasn't mentioned is that it is mountable as well, so there are no pet-following issues going cross country to a mission. You can blindly follow a group on that afk, and come back to your computer when the group gets to the mission.
The best Non-ch BE pets are far better than the combat droids described so far when used as tanks. They do seem to be somewhat scarce, and seem to take a lot of work and skill to make. Ordinary, grind product, ones are at least as good as the droids, and cheaper to boot. It seems to be easy to get 1500 each HAMs, decent kinetic resist, and defensive specials.
The buff issue is real, but much harder to use than it sounds. I have found it hard, and tricky, to feed my pet the buff food. They aren't hungry very often, and if you arn't careful they eat your food instead of theirs. (My RL pets prefer people food too LOL). I have heard that the Doc buffs disappear when you store them which could make those difficult to manage if you aren't a Doc.
Droids look like they will makebetter bodyguards though. The non-ch pets have little attack capability, so the best they will do on guard is let you run away. A 200 DPS probot will takea moderate sizedattacker down before it eats through your armour.
There are rumors about though, that the pets will get nerfed.

I posted about this in the weekly discussion thread... I hope you it's alright with you.
Well I don't mind but you shoud have modified the combat rating of the R3 to 500 and provided the link to this topic ^_^
Anyway why not?

The Adv R3 can also have two defensive modules installed, which gives it a 20% resist/AR0 capability as well.
Ty for the update, I edited the main post.
Ty for the BE info too. If someone could post the full data on CL 10 BE pets plz?
