Thread: So close to making a CL10
Thats some awsome pets you got there Malekaievil!
Could you be more specific on which dna on what slot you were using and what you experimented or left without experimentation?
PS by the way all my pets are selling on the bazaar in coronet for nothing over 6k, sincde they have major vulnerabilities and I haven't figured out armor or anything yet. I don't have a vendor so this is my only shoice at the moment, not trying to undercut anyone since obviously the quality of my pets is rather low still.

That formula doesn't seem to work for me... I use those exact creatures as samples, and i get 12's and 11's once in a while i get a 10 and the HAM is no where near 4.3k Im really interested how you got that to work?! Im MBE btw just really curious how you got this to work.
i made Cupas lvl 10 i used VD= Voritor dasher Hp= huurton Pup
VD-hp
hp-VD
hp-hp another 1 is Vd-vd-hp-vd-hp.
they all 3 came out 3-5k hams and Yes non ch use them now
First, you need to be careful. Cat skins can be aggro and can't be used by a non-CH. (not sure they all are aggro or not)
I use vd/vd/hp/hp/hp using better hp in the third slot and get reliable lvl 10s. If you use lower quality (or stats), it will drop it to an invalid level 6 or 8. When they are tamed, the system will either readjust the stats or the CL and leave you with junk. A 4-3-2 HAM seems to be reliable lvl 10.
Experimentation is more voodoo science. I use one on physical, one on mental, and one on aggression. But since exp has so many outcomes, it's a guessing game. It seems to be the biggest factor in creating invalid CLs, IMO.
I was making 2 lvl 10's for friends two days ago. Made four templates. Due to poor experimentation, two came out lvl 6, one 9, and one 10. The level 6's were both invalid and when I tamed them, they went to lvl 8 with very low intellect. I trashed em both. The only reason I could do this was because they were for friends and needed to be trained anyway. Otherwise, I'd end up with having to sell them at the starport since I had tamed them.
The system is screwed up big time. The test for CL should be on the crafting side, not on the taming side. The CL calc should just create the right level.
