I read in the DE forums that you can harvest with a droid something you kill sampling it's DNA has anyone in here verified this?

Have you tried it with a Harvesting droid or just going by how it was without droids?

I tried but i cant flippin kill any thing now lol lv 4 dna sampeling i pulled 7 dnas out a tusk cat and then it agroed me

You cant harvest anything that you DNA kill because you dont do any combat damage to the creature. It would be a crazy exploit if we DNA'd somehting to death, and still be able to harvest it.
We simply cant do it...

Well Bria is coming up now will tell you shortly what we can or can't do. I'm not asking if its right or wrong and personally after being treated like a red headed step child of a profession lately I don't care I'm just curious if what I read in the DE forum was correct.

Ok if it was true it has been fixed I now get a cannot access this target. Took forever to finially kill something.

Yes apologies, it worked yesterday, but the hotfix this morning eliminated the loophole. I just got done testing it myself.

Just a comment...
I love how you sample something and kill it...but yet for some reason all of it's meat, hide, and bones are magiclly gone...sampling is just a pin **edit**, isn't it?
Just doesn't seem realistic to me...
